Although the extreme krypton positioning is high-end, but the user reputation is polarized, the design and control is quite favorable, but the car-machine system is very hip-pulling. Many users believe that the extreme krypton machine hip-pulling is related to its carrying Qualcomm 820A chip. It is understood that Qualcomm 820A chip was launched in 2016, such as the medium-term revamped Audi A4L, Lecker 05, Xiaopeng P7, Xiaopeng G3, ideal ONE and other models are equipped with this chip. Qualcomm 8155 chip, launched in 2020, is the world's first 7nm SOC chip, including Avita 11, ideal L9, Geely Xingyue L, WEY Mocha, Zero run C11, Xiaopeng P5, Zhiji L7 and Xilai ET7 are all equipped with Qualcomm 8155 chip, which is one of the strongest cockpit SOC chips available for production vehicles. Of course, the 820A chip is not useless, this chip has been around for many years, it is loaded on many fuel models and new energy models, and its higher stability and lower cost make some medium-and low-end models choose to carry the 820A chip. However, compared with the 820A chip, the 8155 chip is obviously ahead of an era. No matter in terms of processing capacity or vehicle networking capacity, the 8155 chip is much stronger than the 820A chip, so in today's new energy models worth more than 300000 yuan, it will basically be hit on the Qualcomm 8155 chip, which has also become a major selling point pushed by manufacturers. Therefore, for ZEEKR 001, the fluency of the car will be significantly improved when the chip is changed from 820A to 8155. As for the fluency, it needs to be evaluated.

Extreme krypton grit its teeth to bear the cost and replace it for all old car owners for free, which does improve the favor of the user brand, but the cost of polar krypton will increase significantly. It is understood that the 820A chip sells for about $40, while the 8155 chip costs about $250, or about 1600 yuan. According to statistics, ZEEKR 001 began delivery in October 2021 and delivered a total of 25017 new cars by June. As a result, polar krypton will have to pay 40.0272 million yuan for this. According to the 4000 units delivered by ZEEKR in January, the extra cost of polar krypton is 6.4 million yuan per month.

Since the chips are not simply replaced, the prices of the three models have increased significantly. Among them, the price of 2022 EC6 is 39.6-554000 yuan, ES6 is 38.6-554000 yuan, and ES8 is 49.6-656000 yuan. For comparison, ES6, ES8 and EC6 are 35.8-526000 yuan, 46.8-624000 yuan and 36.8-526000 yuan respectively.
