Judging from the declaration chart released this time, in terms of appearance, the new car adopts a completely different design style from Geely's cash model. the front face of the new car uses a wide air intake grille design, and the lower part is designed with vents, and the headlamp style is very unique, using a similar "fangs"-shaped LED daytime driving lights and penetrating headlamp group design, with Geely's logo in the middle. On the side of the body, the new car has a two-color body with a suspended roof, sharp lines and black B/C/D posts. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with Raytheon Intelligence engine Hi X hybrid platform, 2.0T turbocharged engine JLH-4G20TDJ and 1.5T four-cylinder engine BHE15-EFZ, with maximum power of 218hp and 181hp, and peak torque of 325N ·m and 290N ·m, respectively. In terms of transmission, the whole system matches the 7-speed double clutch gearbox. According to reports, models equipped with the Raytheon hybrid system 1.5T+3DHT and 1.5T+3DHT are also expected to be launched this year, and whether this will eventually be the case will need to be further verified by the authorities.

It is understood that the CMA architecture is an intermediate car infrastructure architecture led by Volvo and jointly developed by Geely and Volvo. At present, there are four models based on CMA architecture that are on sale under the Geely brand. They are Xingrui (vehicle price is 11.37-152700 yuan), Xingyue S ‍ (vehicle price is 13.57-171700 yuan), Xingyue L (vehicle price is 13.72-185200 yuan) and Xingyue LHi ·F gas-electric hybrid (vehicle price is 15.58-196800 yuan). These four models all belong to the high-end series of "China Star". According to the public information, it is speculated that the future of the new car may be named Xingyao, new car or list of "Chinese stars".

In terms of public sales, Geely Motor sold a total of 1.328 million vehicles in 2021, ranking first among Chinese brand car companies for five consecutive years, but Geely failed to complete its sales of 1.53 million vehicles due to a shortage of spare parts. Among them, Geely brand CMA high-end series "China Star" series accumulated more than 200000 vehicles in the whole year. As for this year's annual sales target, Geely has set a sales target of 1.65 million vehicles in 2022. Figures show that Geely sold a total of 526214 vehicles in the first half of 2022, with a target completion rate of 31.9%. In terms of current sales performance, Geely is challenging to achieve sales of 1.65 million vehicles.
