The new car uses a design style similar to that of the American version of the HR-V and can be regarded as a domestic version of the Honda HR-V. In terms of appearance, as the new compact SUV model of Guangzhou Auto Honda, the design style of the new car is obviously different from that of Guangzhou Automobile Honda currently on sale, and the front part of the car has changed a lot. Specifically, the front face uses a new style of hexagonal grille design, the interior is supplemented by a honeycomb mesh grille, on both sides is a sharp shape of the headlamp group, the interior is equipped with L-shaped lamp belt. At the same time, another big change in the new car is that instead of setting the logo on the front grille, it has been moved to the part that connects to the hood, making the car look more recognizable.

On the side of the body, the lines of the new car are simple, and the waistline extends backward at the front of the fender, making the overall visual effect of the body more slender. Compared with the American version of Tian HR-V, the C-column is lengthened, the front and rear doors use traditional door handles, and the area of the rear window is wider than that of cash.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4568/1840/1621mm, wheelbase is 2655mm, positioning compact SUV, between colorful wisdom and Haoying (higher than colorful wisdom, lower than Haoying). Compared with the colorful wisdom model, the length of the new car has been lengthened by 240mm, and there is also a 66mm length gap between the new car and the Haoying model.

In the rear part of the car, the shape of the new car is relatively round, with a forward-tilted rear windshield design, with obvious grooves in the middle, and a separate design form for the taillight group. The L-shaped taillight belt echoes with the front face before and after the formation of the front face. below is a bilateral single solid exhaust, the whole is highly identifiable.

In the interior part, the new car adopts a similar "Simplicity and Something" design style, equipped with full liquid crystal instruments and suspended central control screen, and the air conditioning outlet is also integrated in the interior of the mesh panel, so the overall design is relatively traditional. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T engine, the maximum engine power 134kW, the maximum torque 240N m, and the transmission system matches the CVT gearbox.

As a compact SUV model, GAC Honda will further fill the gap between RMB12.78-176800, Haoying (RMB16.98-252800) and Guandao (RMB22-332800) to improve GAC-Honda's product matrix, covering three mainstream SUV segments: small, compact and medium-sized respectively.

Combined with the pre-sale price of the new car starting from 168000 yuan, the new car will compete with Nissan Xiaoke (15.49-188900), Toyota Corolla Ruifang (12.98-169800), Toyota Feng Landa (12.58-169800) and other models. Data show that in the first half of this year, Nissan sold 74064 vehicles, Toyota Corolla Ruifang sold 23557 vehicles, and Toyota Feng Landa sold 31702 vehicles.
