On July 29th, the 2023 North American version of Nissan Tuller was officially launched in China, and the new car launched two models with a price range of 79.8 yuan to 838000 yuan. Compared with the old model, the price of the new car was reduced by 43800 yuan. The new car will be introduced to the domestic market in the form of parallel imports and delivery is expected in September.

As a medium-term revamped model, the appearance and interior of the new car have been comprehensively upgraded. In appearance, the front face of the new car is equipped with a type "U" type of chrome grille, with black horizontal trim in the interior and brand Logo in the middle. On both sides is the matrix shape of the LED headlamp group, embedded C-shaped LED day lights, the overall recognition is high, compared with the old model, the new car design is more domineering.

The side of the body, the shape of the new car is square, and the design style is basically consistent with the old model. The body uses chrome-plated decorative lines, with 22-inch tires and 14 aluminum alloy wheels below, showing a good visual effect as a whole. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5305/2030/1925mm and the wheelbase is 3075mm. In the rear part, the new car uses a light group design that echoes with the front face, while the lower part still uses a hidden exhaust layout. As the new car is imported from the North American version, the rear mark is marked with the word "Armada", while Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other markets use the English name "Patrol".

In the interior part, the new car adopts the traditional symmetrical layout, but it is optimized compared with the old model. The new car's cockpit is designed with a hugging design, equipped with a combined LCD instrument and a 12.3-inch suspended central control screen, as well as a new multi-functional steering wheel. In terms of interior color matching, the new car offers three colors: glazed rice, amber black and agate brown. In the seat layout, the new car uses a 2-2-3 seat layout for seven people, with two separate displays in the back row.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with Nissan's 5.6L V8 in-cylinder direct injection engine, with a maximum power of 294kW and a maximum torque of 560Nm, matched with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of competitive products, as far as the current Japanese medium-and large-scale SUV market segment is concerned, the new car will compete with the medium-and large-scale SUV Toyota Lande Cool Luze and large-scale SUV Toyota Sequoia, but in terms of the positioning and price of the new car, the biggest competitor of the new car is Toyota Landcool Luze. Although Tuller was born in the same year as Toyota Rand Cool Luze, Tule has now reached the seventh generation, while only the fifth and sixth generations have been imported into China. According to media reports, the parallel imported version of medium and large-scale SUV Toyota Rand Cool Luze will also be sold in China.

According to the concern of the automotive industry, Tule is a Japanese car, a SUV model, the first generation of Tule was launched in 1951, up to 2016, a total of six generations of models, has developed to the seventh generation. In 1958, Nissan exported the first generation of Tuller models to Europe and North America, and named it PATROL. Nissan Tuller officially introduced the sixth generation model into China, and the sixth generation Tuller Y62 was listed in 2010. subsequently, the sixth generation of Tuller original imported cars in 2011 were introduced to the Chinese market through Zhengzhou Nissan sales channel. On November 21, 2013, at the 11th Guangzhou International Automobile Show, the imported Patrol Tuller was officially listed and sold by Dongfeng Nissan. There is only one configuration imported from the sixth generation of Tuller to China. As a domestic model, the sixth generation of Tuller has obvious changes compared with the previous generation. The car has removed the original design form of the front and rear integral bridge suspension and used a new design method of the front and rear double forked arm independent suspension, but it still retains some classic designs, such as the continuation of the non-load-bearing body.

Previously, due to the substandard emissions of the Tule version introduced in China, it was suspended and withdrew from the domestic market. The new Nissan Tule car passed the National Motor vehicle Product quality Inspection Center in May 2022, that is to say, the new Tule has already met the national six B emission standards, and the new car will provide consumers with more choices when it comes on the market.
