According to media reports, the new car is expected to be introduced into China in the form of imported flat cars. In terms of vehicle prices, as a reference, the official guidance price of the discontinued LX570 is 1.291 million-1.417 million yuan, and the price of new cars may exceed 1.3 million.

According to the concern of the automobile industry, as a high-end brand of Toyota, Lexus has always maintained the identity of imported cars and sold in the Chinese market. At last year's Los Angeles Auto Show, the new Lexus LX was officially unveiled. The new car is based on the TNGA platform, with a non-load-bearing body, a new powertrain and a new tail-named LX600.

Judging from the previously exposed patent drawings, the appearance and interior of the new car have been newly designed, and the new car is still based on the TNGA-F platform while maintaining the non-load-bearing body design. Specifically, the front face of the new car is equipped with borderless spindle intake grille, and provides two styling options: the deluxe version and the sports version, the interior of the deluxe version is dotted with horizontal chrome trim, and the interior of the sports version is embellished with black honeycomb meshes, both sides with long and narrow light groups, and internal L-shaped daytime driving lights with matrix LED light sources.

On the side of the body, the new car provides multi-spoke motion rims for a stronger visual impact. In the rear part, the new car has been replaced with the popular through taillight group, and the hidden exhaust layout is still used at the bottom. There is a difference between the deluxe version and the sports version, in which the sports version adds a silver trim, and the overall shape is more fashionable.

In terms of interior decoration, the new Lexus LX is equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and is equipped with full liquid crystal instruments, suspended liquid crystal meters and three large screens for vehicle information control below, further enhancing the sense of science and technology and luxury.

In terms of power, the Lexus LX600, similar to the new Rand Cool Luze, no longer offers a V8 engine and is replaced by a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbocharged gasoline engine with a maximum power of 415hp, a peak torque of 650Nm and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is understood that Lexus LX600 also proposed a 3.3T V6 diesel engine in overseas markets, and domestic models are expected to carry 3.5L V6 gasoline models.

In terms of market competition, Lexus LX600 is the same as Toyota Landku Luze, both are based on TNGA-F architecture and use non-load-bearing body, but Lexus LX600 is more inclined to luxury sector in China, and the new car is expected to compete with Mercedes-Benz LX600 (106.80-1.329 million), BMW X7 (100-1.698 million) and Lincoln navigator (109.8-1.428 million) after launch.

In February, Lexus officials said: "We apologize for the new LX announced on January 12 because it takes a lot of time to deliver after ordering. If you buy from now on, it may take us about four years to deliver your car. On July 1st, Lexus announced that it would stop accepting orders from Lexus LX600 from July 1st, because the supply of vehicles was in short supply and global orders significantly exceeded production capacity. It is not clear how soon Lexus LX will be listed after it has passed the latest emission certification. Public data show that Lexus insured 219200 vehicles in China in 2021, down 6.89 per cent from a year earlier. In the first half of 2022, the cumulative insurance volume of Lexus in China was 86500, down 29.7% from the same period last year, of which the cumulative insurance volume of Lexus LX was 1130.
