As a mid-term modified model, Audi A6L mainly changes in appearance, it will provide two different hexagonal air intake grille designs, one to continue the current model of the horizontal chrome grille design, the other is a discontinuous lattice grille design, the two in the lower surround on both sides of the decorative area has a clear difference. In contrast, the former is more sporty as a whole, while the latter is more business-like and suitable for different vehicle needs. The style of headlight groups on both sides is also different from that of the current model in the design of internal light sources.

The side and tail of the body are not much different from the current model. The tail is still connected with the lamp group with through-chrome strip. The style of the lower enclosure has changed. The trim strips on both sides are more like imitating the exhaust outlet. In fact, the hidden exhaust layout is adopted. This design improves the visual effect of the tail. The rear bumper echoes the front bumper. The chrome decoration across the rear bumper makes the whole vehicle look more layered. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5038(5050)/1886/1475mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3024mm, which is consistent with the current model.

In terms of interior, the overall layout of the new car has not been greatly adjusted. It still adopts the current style steering wheel, center control screen and shift lever. Audi A6L, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class have always been the "troika" in the field of luxury medium and large cars in China, with excellent market recognition and sales performance. According to the data, the cumulative sales volume of BMW 5 Series in the first half of the year was 80308, the cumulative sales volume of Mercedes-Benz E-Class was 60931, and the Audi A6L was 55631.
