According to the announcement, starting from October 25, 2022, some imported 430 Coupe/Spider/Scuderia, 612 Scaglietti, Scuderia Spider 16m, California/T, FF, F12 Berlinetta/TDF, LaFerrari/Aperta, GTC4 Lusso/T, 488 Pista/Spider, 812 Superfast/GTS, Portofino/M, Roma and F8 Tributo/Spider series cars produced during the period from July 28, 2004 to July 8, 2022 will be recalled, totaling 4734.

The reason for the recall is that vehicles within the recall area may potentially increase the risk of brake fluid leakage due to the failure of the brake fluid storage tank cover to ensure the proper ventilation required to maintain the atmospheric pressure in the tank, resulting in a decline in brake performance or brake failure, resulting in safety risks. In view of the above defects, Ferrari International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will replace the improved brake fluid storage tank cover for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, and reprogram the instrument to update the warning information when the brake fluid level is too low, in order to eliminate safety risks.

It should be noted that this recall belongs to the expanded recall of "Ferrari International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. recalls some imported 458,488 series cars" issued on April 22, 2022, with a total of 6956 recalls.
