The whole vehicle has clear and sharp lines and has a strong mecha atmosphere. The interior of hexagonal front grille adopts mesh design, and the center is the LOGO of Dongfeng Warrior brand. The LOGO takes the first letter M of Warrior as the design source, and introduces the element of helmet armor, which appears very hard and mechanical, which also conforms to the positioning of Warrior brand. It is understood that M-Terrain is developed based on MORA skateboard off-road platform, supporting multi-function line control, fusion domain control, high integration thermal management and other technologies. Specifically, MORA fierce skateboard off-road platform supports decoupling of body and chassis upper and lower body, supports ultra-large bandwidth wheelbase expansion, supports SUV, pickup truck, VAN and other body forms, greatly shortens product development cycle, and can develop diversified and stylized series products on the same platform. In terms of power, the M-Terrain will provide pure electric and extended range power forms, with an estimated range of 500 km and 800 km respectively, of which the pure electric model has a six-seat layout and the extended range version can be selected from a four-seat or six-seat layout.

The Warrior model will be equipped with an air suspension system with "three locks", an electronically controlled differential lock on each front and rear axle, and a central virtual differential lock between the front and rear axles. In addition, the warrior model will be equipped with MATS intelligent off-road all-terrain system, aiming at 9 kinds of complex and changeable off-road environments such as snow, sand, deep snow and rock, intelligently select the most ideal driving mode and dynamic response strategy, and realize high-precision adjustment of power, suspension, steering and other systems.

This is the second high-end electric vehicle brand released by Dongfeng Motor after Lantu. At the 2021 World New Energy Vehicle Conference, Zhu Yanfeng, Chairman of Dongfeng Company, made it clear that Dongfeng would copy the advantages of new forces to build cars and launch a brand-new new energy customized product "M" in 2022.
