Recall a total of 68353 Chery Tiger 3x cars produced from May 19, 2016 to November 26, 2018. The reason for the recall: due to the inconsistent assembly of the radiator core of the air conditioning system in the vehicle within the scope of this recall, it is easy to cause cracking and leakage of the radiator core of the air conditioning system, and in extreme cases, it may cause high temperature coolant to splash on the driver's feet and cause scald, and the fog from the air conditioning outlet blocks the line of view, which is a hidden danger.

Second, recall part of the Qirui Tiger 8 PLUS produced from October 18, 2021 to December 12, 2021, a total of 8007 vehicles. The reason for the recall: due to the manufacturing problems of taillight circuit board in the scope of this recall, the taillight may flicker or the taillight is not on, which can not provide an effective signal for the rear vehicle, and there is a safety risk.

It is particularly noted that the above two recalls were carried out in the context of the defect investigation initiated by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration. In view of the above defects, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the radiator core for the recalled Ruihu 3x vehicles free of charge to eliminate safety risks; for the recalled Ruihu 8 PLUS vehicles, the left and right rear lights will be replaced free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

According to the automotive industry's attention, the Ruihu 3x is a small SUV model of Chery Automobile, and it is also the third model under the Chery Strategy 2.0 system. It enters the small SUV market with the advantage of "the first 4G interconnected SUV of the same level" and forms a dual-engine with the previously listed new Ruihu 3. The Ruihu 8 PLUS is a medium-sized SUV of Chery, which offers 1.5T and 1.6T engines. Among them, 1.5T engine + 48V light mixing system is one of the highlights of the model, with a maximum horsepower of 156hp. In terms of transmission, it is matched by a CVT continuously variable transmission with a comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.4L for 100 kilometers. The 1.6T is matched by a seven-gear double-clutch transmission with a maximum horsepower of 197 and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.87L for 100 kilometers. On May 30, 2022, the 2022 Chery Tiger 8 PLUS officially went on sale, with a 1.6T engine and a total of five models with a price range of 12.49-159900 yuan.

Public data show that from January to July this year, Chery Group sold a total of 606783 vehicles, an increase of 19.3 percent over the same period last year, of which Chery sold 459870 vehicles, up 35.5 percent from the same period last year. In terms of specific models, from January to July this year, Ruihu 3x sold a total of 7814 vehicles, while Chery Ruihu 8 sold 73363 vehicles.
