On Sept. 3, Geely's new compact MPV-- Jiaji L officially launched three new models with a price range of 11.98-142800 yuan, which is in line with the old one. However, as an "L" version, the new car has been adjusted in all aspects, including lengthening the body size of the 120mm, optional seven-seat layout and using a 1.5TD four-cylinder engine to replace the 1.8TD model.

In terms of appearance, the new car uses Geely's brand-new design language, the front face is connected by the forward air grille and the headlights on both sides, and the bottom uses through-type chrome-plated decorative strips, the upper and lower layering design style enhances the visual hierarchy of the whole car. The front is surrounded by a three-part large-size heat dissipation opening, and both sides are equipped with LED daytime driving lights, which has a high degree of recognition.

On the side of the car body, the lines of the new car body are smooth, and the overall shape is basically the same as that of Jiaji, but it is optimized in detail, such as the new style wheel hub shape makes the whole car side look more fashionable. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4826/1909/1695mm and the wheelbase is 2805mm. Compared with the old model, the body size of the new car is lengthened by 120mm. In terms of body color, the new car has added "Xiaoshan Qing" body color.

In the rear part, the new car uses a penetrating taillight group, with the English logo of the Geely brand at the rear, which improves the recognition of the whole car, and the rear surround of the new car also adopts a hierarchical design, highlighting the design sense of the tail. the shape of the lower bumper is more plump.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch full LCD dashboard, a 12.3-inch HD central control screen, and a redesigned handlebar area. the cup holder area of the new car is set side by side with the handle, and a storage grid with wireless charging panel is added under the air conditioning outlet, which improves the convenience of the new car. On the seat layout, the new car can be selected with 7 seats.

In terms of power, the new car was replaced by the family's latest 1.5T four-cylinder engine, equipped with a new generation of Geely engine 1.5TD+7DCT efficient power system, maximum power 133kW, peak torque 290N ·m, matched by a seven-speed double clutch gearbox, which consumes only 6.9L fuel at 100km under WLTC conditions.

According to the positioning and price of the new Geely Jiaji L, the new car will be launched in Wuling Capitol (about 8.6-135000 yuan), GAC MOTOR M6 (about 11-160000 yuan) and other models.

According to the automotive industry's attention, Geely Jiaji is Geely's first MPV model, positioning high-end household MPV, on March 11, 2019, it provides traditional power (1.8TD+6AT and 1.5TD+6MT), PHEV plug hybrid (1.5TD+7DCTH), MHEV mild hybrid (1.5TD+7DCT+48V BSG) and other powertrain, and seat layout provides 2 "2" 2 "2", 2 "2" 3, 2 "3" seat layout. According to the wholesale sales of the Carrier Association, Geely Jiaji sold only 1937 vehicles from January to July this year.
