According to the data of the Federation of passengers, the cumulative sales of MPV in the domestic market from January to July this year was 514000, down 21% from the same period last year. At present, the models with better sales in the MPV field include Buick GL8, Chuanqi M8, Wuling Capgemini, Honda Odyssey / Ericsson, Sena and other models. According to previous reports from the automotive industry, the Pentium brand was founded on May 18, 2006. it mainly produces SUV and car models, including Pentium B70, Pentium T77, Pentium T55, Pentium T33, Pentium T99, Pentium T99 and Pentium B70S. Although the brand was not founded for a long time, the early Pentium development was smooth. Data show that FAW Pentium accumulated sales of 120500 vehicles in 2019, an increase of 33% over the same period last year, but not for long. FAW Pentium sales are in a continuous decline in the following years. FAW Pentium set an annual sales target of 200000 vehicles in 2020, with cumulative sales of only 80100 vehicles that year, a far cry from the target.

On May 18, 2021, FAW Pentium released a new brand strategy and created a new Pentium brand logo, but it also failed to improve its sales. Data show that FAW Pentium sold only 57773 vehicles in 2021. This year, FAW Pentium set an annual sales target of 100000 vehicles, and the latest figures show that FAW Pentium sold 10018 vehicles in August, up 134 per cent from a year earlier. Judging from the current product sales of FAW Pentium, if FAW Pentium wants to achieve its goal of 100000 vehicles this year, it needs to launch more competitive products. As for the future sales of FAW Pentium new MPV, it needs more time and market verification.
