For comparison, the price of the new generation of Qijun currently on sale is 18.19-262900 yuan, compared with 2000 yuan lower than the starting price of Xingyue limited edition, which also means that the price of the whole car series has been pulled down by the launch of the new car.

In terms of appearance, the new car is selling a new generation of Qijun designs based on cash, which is mainly aimed at upgrading the appearance. The front face of the new car uses an inverted trapezoidal grille, and the grille is surrounded by wide chromium-plated strips with split headlights on both sides. in addition, a new luminous car logo is added to the new car net to improve recognition.

On the side of the body, the new car adopts double waistline and suspended roof design, in addition, the new car also adds streamer LED welcome pedal and side foot pedal to improve the texture of the whole car. In terms of body size, the new Qijun has a length, width and height of 4681/1840/1730mm and a wheelbase of 2706mm, which has been improved compared with the old model. In the interior part, the multimedia display screen of the central control of the new car adopts a suspended design and is equipped with a functional control area with a combination of touch and physical buttons. In terms of power, the new Qijun carries a 1.5T turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 204hp and a maximum torque of 300Nm. The transmission system matches the CVT continuously variable transmission.

In addition, according to previous reports from the auto industry, the Dongfeng Nissan Qijun e-POWER model has appeared in the declaration catalogue, and the new car is expected to be on the market within 2022. According to the declaration information, the appearance of Dongfeng Nissan Qijun e-POWER is based on the fourth generation Qijun, which basically continues to use the design style of cash fuel version models, using V-motion design language, the front face uses horizontal grille with split headlight group design, the upper headlight group and the front grille are fused to form an integrated shape, and the front is surrounded by trapezoidal heat dissipation openings and sturdy front lips, and the overall degree of recognition is high. On the side of the body, the new car adopts the design style of conventional fuel version. The rear part of the new car is smoked black on both sides of the taillight group, with exclusive e-POWER logo words on the tail, which is different from the fuel version, and the rear enclosure is equipped with a chrome-plated decorative diffuser, and the exhaust is a hidden exhaust layout. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the second generation e-POWER hybrid system, which is composed of 1.5T engine and dual motors, in which the maximum power of 1.5T engine is 106kW, the peak torque is 250Nm, the maximum power of front motor is 150kW, the peak torque is 330Nm, the maximum power of rear motor is 100kW, and the peak torque is 195Nm. Qijun is a compact SUV owned by Nissan. As a compact SUV, the car previously had a certain influence in China. Data show that Nissan Qijun sold 175177 vehicles in 2020. However, the new generation of Nissan Qijun listed on the market is not recognized by consumers, sales almost halved the trend.

The new car is mainly aimed at the appearance, interior decoration and configuration adjustments, while the biggest change lies in power. The newly developed VC-Turbo super-variable engine 1.5T three-cylinder turbocharged engine, maximum power 150kW, maximum torque 300N ·m, matched with a new generation of CVT gearbox. However, after the replacement, the sales volume of Xinqi Jun directly fell to the bottom, and the cumulative total sales of Qijun in China in 2021 was 100761. Among them, the sales from January to June were 18583, 10113, 14418, 14336, 12855 and 11581 respectively, and from August to December were 4035,4021,4010,40001,2808 respectively, and only 1,875 from August to December, that is to say, after the replacement of new cars, its sales began to decline sharply.

After entering 2022, Qijun's sales are still low. The latest figures show that Xinqijun sold 14084 vehicles from January to August in 2022, of which only 2258 were sold in August, accounting for 2.83% of the Dongfeng Nissan family's share, and only 0.25% of the domestic SUV market. Qijun Star Moon limited edition model is still equipped with 1.5T turbocharged three-cylinder engine, but the price has been reduced, whether it can boost Qijun's sales after listing remains to be verified, as for the performance of Qijun e-POWER after its launch this year, it also needs more time to wait and see.
