BMW officially released the official picture of the new flagship SUV BMW XM model of the BMW M-series on Sept. 28, Beijing time, while the new car opened for pre-sale in China at a pre-sale price of 2.36 million yuan.

The BMW XM is independently developed by the M department of BMW. The new car is the second independent model in the M series and the first M hybrid model. Considering the positioning and pre-price of the new car, the new BMW XM will compete with Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG, Audi RS Q8 and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT after its launch.

It is also reported that BMW will also launch a more expensive "XM Label Red" version in 2023, which will begin limited production in mid-2023.
