Since then, it has opened the road of building a car, but its development is not smooth. Suida Automobile is an automobile manufacturing enterprise from Sanmenxia, Henan Province. only three months after its establishment, it was written into the Development Plan of Henan Electric vehicle Industry in November 2010. and claimed to form a pure electric mini and intermediate car production capacity of 100000 by 2015. Six months after its establishment, the Sanmenxia municipal government also issued the "Sanmenxia City Electric vehicle Industry Development implementation opinions (interim)", taking the electric vehicle project of Sida Science and Technology as the key development object.

Since then, Suida Automobile has begun to build the first phase of the project in Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone, expropriating 826 mu of land. On March 20, 2019, SA01, the first production car of Suida Automobile, was officially off the line. Three months after the production car went off the line, Suida signed domestic and foreign purchase orders for 411000 vehicles, most of which came from overseas.

Through the "internal training and external introduction" way to inject capital into Suida Automobile, in this context, it also makes Sida Auto more confident. But the good times did not last long. In the "external introduction" project in Sanmenxia, soon * the Sanmenxia 5GWh high-end lithium battery production project, which ST Lion invested 2.5 billion yuan to build, was shut down and failed to achieve its wish in terms of "internal training".

According to the relevant financial report, during the period from 2016 to 2019, the net profit of Suida Automobile was-25.43 million yuan,-32.25 million yuan,-306 million yuan and-367 million yuan respectively, with a cumulative loss of 730 million yuan in the past four years. Germany did not export its first batch of 411000 cars until April 2020 when it signed an order for Suida Motors. According to the plan, the German order was originally planned to be 500. in view of the impact of the epidemic at that time, it should be noted that Li Fuhuo, founder of Suida Motors, had said he planned to export 12000 pure electric vehicles to Germany in 2020.

According to Suida's official website, there are two models on sale, the SA01 and the SD01. Among them, the "SA01" positioning small pure electric hatchback car, the power is equipped with a maximum power of 80kW, peak torque 240Nm permanent magnet synchronous motor, the maximum speed can reach 130km/h, the subsidized price is 120000 yuan; another model "SD01" positioning miniature pure electric hatchback car, the subsidized price is 110000 yuan. However, after the release of the new car, consumers do not buy the Sida electric vehicles priced at more than 100,000 yuan, no matter from the aspects of power system, styling design or brand promotion.

From the point of view of the time of the establishment of the brand, the starting point of Suida Automobile is not late, but compared with Wei Xiaoli, which is the mainstream of the new forces of car building in China, the speed of Suida Automobile products is very slow. In other words, it took Suida nearly 10 years to produce a model. By contrast, the ideal car was founded in July 2015, and the first product, the ideal ONE, was launched in October 2018 in only about three years.
