In the rear part, the overall design of the new car is more round, the new car adopts through-type taillight design, the recognition is very high after lighting, and the bottom is surrounded by large black and double exhaust layout in the middle.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4990/1880/1455mm, wheelbase is 2920mm, positioning medium-sized car, the overall size is close to that of H5. As a comparison, the new Red Flag H5 has a length, width and height of 4988/1875/1470mm and a wheelbase of 2920mm, positioning a luxury medium-sized car.

In terms of power system, the Red Flag H6 will provide two kinds of 2.0L turbocharged engines with different parameter adjustment, with the maximum power of 60kW and 180kW respectively, corresponding to the tail mark 40TD and 45TD, which is higher than the 2.0T engine power of Hongqi H5 and H7, and the same power as the 2.0T engine 180kW of Hongqi H9. In terms of transmission, it is expected to match the seven-gear double clutch transmission. Depending on the model, the fuel consumption is between 6.55 and 6.80 liters per 100 km.

As a high-end automobile brand directly operated by FAW, up to now, Hongqi's existing product camp has two major product systems: the car family and the SUV family, covering the middle and high-end market of 15-700000 yuan, among which the car family has four models: H5, H7, H9 and E-QM5.

Hongqi H5 is a classic model among many products of Hongqi. The replacement model was officially launched on July 26 this year. The new car has launched a total of seven configured models with a price range of 15.98-225800 yuan. It is the only one of Hongqi products with a price below 200000 yuan. In terms of power, compared with the old model, the Hongqi H5 is equipped with 1.5T engine, 1.5T hybrid system and 2.0T engine, and the corresponding tail marks are "35TD", "HEV" and "40TD" respectively. Among them, the engine power of 1.5T and 1.5T hybrid system is 124 kilowatts, and that of 2.0T engine is 165 kilowatts. The traditional system matches the 7-speed double-clutch gearbox, 8-speed manual self-integrated gearbox and E-CVT stepless gearbox, and the fuel consumption under WLTC comprehensive operating conditions is 6.2L/100km, 6.4L/100km and 5.1L/100km, respectively.

Data show that FAW Hongqi sold more than 300000 vehicles in 2021, an increase of more than 50% over the same period last year. In view of this, FAW Group has finalized its annual sales of 4.1 million vehicles in 2022, of which FAW Hongqi is responsible for 45-500000 of its sales target of 4.1 million vehicles.

According to the insurance figures, in the first eight months of this year, the cumulative sales of the Red Flag brand was 164800 vehicles, an increase of 2.15% over the same period last year. According to the annual sales target of 450000 vehicles, the Red Flag brand achieved 36.6% of its sales target in the previous August. Among the specific models, Hongqi HS5 has accumulated sales of 77900 vehicles, which is the highest selling model among Hongqi products, followed by Hongqi H5, with cumulative sales of 45000 vehicles, which is also the volume model of Hongqi. Red Flag H6 as the Red Flag "H5 sedan version", it is worth looking forward to whether the new car can become a popular model under Red Flag after it is on the market.
