If there is a problem with the battery module of the vehicle, the dealer will replace it free of charge. The recalled vehicles will be sent to Volkswagen dealers to replace the battery module and replace the 12V battery and upgrade the latest 2.4 version of the system. Inspection and maintenance will take about 1-2 working days.

However, the 10130 ID.3 and ID.4 models recalled by Volkswagen are models produced in 2020, only for the European market, and there will be no problem with Volkswagen's related models in other markets, that is, the recall does not involve the Chinese market. It is understood that Volkswagen MEB European market is equipped with LG soft package battery, while the domestic FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC Volkswagen are responsible for production and sales.
