In terms of appearance, the new car still continues the appearance design of the current Han EV Genesis version, with a closed front intake grille, a slight uplift effect on both sides of the hood, and a fumigation treatment on both sides of the headlight group, which looks relatively simple as a whole. The lower surrounding part is a three-stage design style, the diversion grooves equipped with vertical layout on both sides are decorated with "C" shaped black strips, the middle is a trapezoidal air inlet design, and the interior is decorated with a horizontal structure, which further enhances the hierarchical sense of the front of the car.

On the side of the body, the new car adopts slip-back styling design and waistline penetrating design to enhance the overall sense of hierarchy, supplemented by red brake calipers and hidden door handles to highlight the sports sense of the new car. In the rear part, the roof of the new car is equipped with a small size spoiler, the light groups on both sides are also fumigated and designed with a penetrating design, which effectively stretches the lateral visual width of the rear in the visual effect, and the lower surrounding part echoes with the front face. the same three-stage design is also adopted, with decorative diversion grooves on both sides and a concave trapezoidal license plate frame design in the middle.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4995/1910/1495mm, the wheelbase is 2920mm, and the positioning of medium and large cars is consistent with the current Genesis version of Han EV. However, compared with the current entry model, part of the configuration of the new car has been reduced, the new car will change the panoramic skylight from optional to standard, and the wheels use two-color multi-spoke styling, from 19-inch wheels to 18-inch wheels. 19-inch wheels are optional, with red calipers to further enhance the sports atmosphere.

The interior part has not been officially announced, but it is expected that the interior will also be in line with the current model. For comparison, the current model uses a 15.6-inch touch LCD central control large screen + 12.3-inch full liquid crystal instrument layout.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) of model TZ200XSQ, with a maximum power of 150kW and a rated power of 65kW, along with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. For comparison, the old Han EV two-wheel drive model is equipped with the maximum power 163kW motor, while the Han EV Genesis version is equipped with the maximum power 180kW motor with a torque of 350Nm, CLTC pure electric mileage of 715km and 0-100km/h acceleration of 7.9s.

According to the concern of the automobile industry, at present, BYD's products are mainly "dynasty" + "ocean" two series, and its model rectangle is also gradually clear. Dynasty net is mainly composed of Qin, Han, Song, Tang, Yuan and other models. Ocean net includes dolphins, destroyers 05, seals and other models, the product price covers the range of 10-300000 yuan. Among them, Han is one of BYD's flagship models, positioning medium and large cars, which was officially launched in July 2020, and the 2022 Han EV was launched in April 2022 with a price range of 26.98-329800 yuan.

Han EV is a volume model under BYD. Data show that BYD EV delivered a total of 104149 vehicles from January to September in 2022, with basic monthly sales of more than 10, 000, of which 12828, 12837, 13179 and 13269 were delivered respectively from June to September. According to the comprehensive declaration chart information, the new car will be equipped with a lower power motor. If there is no accident, the new car may be the new entry-level model of BYD EV. After the launch of the new car, it will not only enrich the product range of BYD, but also further lower the threshold of the car system, thereby boosting the overall sales of the car system.

According to the latest data, BYD's cumulative sales of new energy passenger vehicles in the first three quarters were 1175321, an increase of 255.30% over the same period last year, accounting for nearly 1/3 of the market share, surpassing Tesla's global delivery of 908600 vehicles in the first three quarters. So far, BYD has achieved 78.4% of its annual sales target of 1.5 million vehicles in 2022, and the remaining 21.6% will be achieved in the next three months.
