Jianghuai Lai F1 factory was closed for 3 or 5 days to tie in with the original plan of epidemic prevention, because most of the parts are in stock and can be produced in a closed manner, but with the extension of the closed control time, the pace of overall production and delivery is greatly affected. In addition, people close to NIO told 36 Krypton that NeoPark, the automobile industry park in the Hefei economic development zone, was also under closed control recently, and the whole vehicle production line of the F2 plant was also suspended.

It is understood that the Jianghuai NIO factory is located on Susong Road, Baohe District, Hefei City, Anhui Province, in which F1 factory undertakes the production of the vast majority of models, including ES8, ES6, EC6, ET7 and ES7, with an annual production capacity of up to 300000 vehicles after upgrading the production line, while F2 factory mainly produces the newly listed ET5 with a planned capacity of 300000 vehicles, which is still in the early stage of capacity climbing.

According to the latest announcement from Xilai, a total of 10059 new cars were delivered in October, an increase of 174.3 percent over the same period last year, including 5979 SUV and 4080 cars, of which 2814 were delivered by ES7, 3050 by ET7 and 1030 by ET5. It is understood that the sales target of Lulai in 2022 is 150000, while NIO has delivered a total of 92493 new cars since the beginning of 2022, with a target completion rate of 61.7%. In other words, NIO needs to deliver 57057 new cars in the last two months to meet its sales target, which is an almost impossible task for Ulai, and its target of selling 150000 vehicles a year is likely to be missed.

Of course, this is not to blame, after all, the prevention and control of the epidemic, the supply of spare parts and other external factors, is beyond control. Since March, the company's supply chain partners in Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu and other places have stopped production one after another and have not yet recovered, according to a note posted on its APP on April 9. Affected by this, the production of the whole vehicle of NIO has been suspended. Data show that only 5074 new cars were delivered in April, a new low for the year.

However, the number of new cars delivered by NIO in October still reached 10059, slightly lower than the 10878 in September, indicating that the prevention and control of the epidemic and the supply of spare parts still had an impact on it, and the formal delivery of the newly listed ET5 at the end of September also promoted its delivery performance to a certain extent.

Of course, the challenge comes not only from the supply side, but also from the demand side. While the production rhythm of the factory is not up to expectations, the terminal performance of most models is not satisfactory. People close to the front-line channels said that Wei Xiaoli's old models all have insufficient orders, coupled with insufficient production capacity and delayed delivery of new cars, resulting in a lot of pressure on sales shifting in the short term.

In fact, the chill in the market is widespread. On October 24, Tesla lowered the prices of Model 3 and Model Y on sale in Chinese mainland, by 1.4-18000 yuan for Model 3 and 2.0-37000 yuan for Model Y. Among them, the rear drive version of Model 3 decreased from 279900 yuan to 265900 yuan, a direct drop of 14000 yuan; the high performance version of Model 3 dropped from 367900 yuan to 349900 yuan, a direct drop of 18000 yuan; Model Y rear wheel drive version dropped from 369 900 yuan to 2889 thousand yuan, a direct drop of 28,800 yuan; and Model Y long-lasting version dropped from 394,900 yuan to 357,900 yuan, a direct drop of 37,000 yuan The Model Y high-performance version dropped from 417900 yuan to 397900 yuan, a drop of 20000 yuan.
