BMW's all-new compact all-electric SUV "BMW iX1" is reportedly already in Regensburg, Germany (Regensburg Plant) is officially off the assembly line. The new car will be produced together with gasoline, diesel engine and plug-in hybrid models. In addition, the high-voltage battery supporting the new car will also be put into production in the plant, which means that all BMW factories in Germany can produce electric vehicles. Milan, a board member responsible for BMW's production, said that by 2024, one third of the models produced in BMW's German factory will eliminate internal combustion engines. Production of conventional fuel cars will then be transferred to BMW plants in the UK and Austria.

The iX1 is the third all-electric SAV after the iX3 and iX, and the second all-electric SAV after the iX. The new car will offer a variety of design options, but overall, in addition to the blue new energy logo, the appearance design of the new car is basically the same as that of the brand-new generation BMW X1, but there are differences in details. For example, blue decorative elements are added to many parts of the new car. In addition, the charging port of the new car is located on the right rear fender instead of the fuel filler position of the fuel vehicle, which is obviously different from the brand-new generation BMW X1.

Specifically speaking, the new car adopts BMW's latest design language. The front face is a huge double-kidney air intake grille of size. According to BMW's official website, BMW currently has four pure electric products in the Chinese market, iX, iX3, i4 and i3, but there is no pure electric vehicle model of 200,000 yuan. With reference to the price of BMW X3 and BMW iX3, it is estimated that the price of domestic iX1 may be about 290,000 yuan.

This BMW iX1 is off the assembly line in Regensburg, Germany, which means that the domestic version of iX1 may also be launched soon.
