On November 15, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the results of supervision and inspection of traditional cars in 2021. In the supervision and inspection of three categories of traditional automobile products, such as passenger cars, trucks and special-purpose vehicles, a total of 15 models of 15 enterprises have production consistency problems.

In the traditional passenger car category, there are five models and products of five enterprises, namely, BAIC (Guangzhou) Automobile Co., Ltd., Guanzhi Automobile Co., Ltd., brilliance Renault Golden Cup Automobile Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Xiaokang Automobile Co., Ltd., Nanjing Automobile Group Co., Ltd., mainly fuel consumption, heavy diesel vehicles OBD and other projects do not meet the national standards or management regulations.

The details are as follows: the fuel consumption of the BJ6473U6XDK multi-purpose passenger vehicle (BEIJING X7) produced by BAIC (Guangzhou) Automobile Co., Ltd. is higher than the type certification value. QAL6460FCJCZ multi-purpose passenger vehicle produced by Guanzhi Automobile Co., Ltd., SY6535H2S1 BG multi-purpose passenger vehicle produced by Huachen Renault Golden Cup Automobile Co., Ltd. (Golden Cup Haishi King) and DXK7150KD5H sedan produced by Dongfeng Xiaokang Automobile Co., Ltd. (Dongfeng Fengguang 500), there are three models with fuel consumption higher than the limit value stipulated in GB19578-2014 "fuel consumption limit for passenger vehicles".

In addition, there are three major problems in the NJ6496ACMZ multi-purpose passenger vehicle (Iveco proud) produced by Nanjing Automobile Group Co., Ltd.: 1, other passenger seat belt models, triangle warning sign production enterprises are not consistent with the record parameters; 2, fuel consumption (chassis dynamometer method) is higher than the limit requirement stipulated in GB30510-2018 "fuel consumption limit for heavy Commercial vehicles" 3. The activation and elimination scheme of fault indicator light (MI) does not meet the requirements of GB17691-2018 "Pollutant Emission limits and Measurement methods for heavy Diesel vehicles" (Phase VI of China).

In the aspect of traditional trucks, two types of products of two enterprises are involved, mainly side protection devices, heavy diesel vehicles OBD and other projects do not meet the national standards or management regulations. In the aspect of traditional special purpose vehicles, there are 8 models and products of 8 enterprises, mainly the side and rear lower protective devices, braking system, roll stability angle, emergency cut-off device, vehicle and parts identification and other items do not meet the national standards or management regulations.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that for the models with production consistency problems found in the above inspection, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and the administrative provisions of the "announcement", revoke or suspend the "announcement" of the offending products according to the seriousness of the violation, and order rectification and reform for six months, three months or one month. During the rectification and reform period, the declaration of new traditional automobile products of the corresponding categories of enterprises and the electronic information transmission of the traditional automobile certificate of the corresponding categories of illegal products shall be suspended, which shall be restored after the end of the rectification period and pass the acceptance inspection. The competent department of industry and information technology at the provincial level where the enterprise is located shall supervise and urge the enterprise to identify the causes of product problems, formulate rectification measures and put them in place in accordance with the relevant requirements.
