After the fire is put out, the rear part of the vehicle is basically burned into iron shell, the front windshield and front glass on both sides have been destroyed, but the front and chassis are relatively intact. It is worth mentioning that the car is suspected to be a new vehicle, not yet licensed.

There are many electric vehicle fire accidents in the market, but few car enterprises admit that the quality of their own products is not up to standard, so up to now, more than 95% of the fire accidents can only be attributed to external causes, which may be caused by the violent collision of vehicles, battery packs are squeezed and the structure is damaged, resulting in fire and combustion. It is also possible that the battery generates heat during charging, or the temperature is high in the natural environment. At this time, if the BMS system's heat dissipation capacity cannot keep up, the circuit may be short-circuited, which is also widely believed to be the cause of many fire accidents.

However, from BYD seal fire scene, the above fire causes or can basically be ruled out. First of all, as an unlicensed new car and the state of the site after the fire was extinguished, it can basically be determined that the accident was not caused by battery aging, and from the local temperature conditions and the clothing of the personnel on site, it can be ruled out that the accident was caused by excessive external temperature. In addition, there was no obvious collision at the scene of the accident, which ruled out the possibility of collision and fire. Of course, the specific cause of the vehicle fire has yet to be further confirmed by officials, and BYD has not responded to the fire accident as of press time.

According to the latest data from the Association, BYD's new energy vehicles sold 205,800 vehicles in October, up 159.4% year-on-year. Among them, 11267 seals were sold in October, up 50.8% month-on-month; in addition, 9111 destroyers were sold and 25336 dolphins were sold.
