Nissan Tuller is the flagship product of Nissan's SUV family. Data show that Nissan Tuller can be traced back to 1958, when Nissan exported the first generation Tuller model to Europe and North America and named it PATROL. In 1959, it launched a modified 4W66 model with a maximum power 125hp 4.0L engine. After the car stopped production in June 1960, in the same year, the second generation Tuller 60 was launched, and the new 60 series model replaced the 4w60 series. In 1980, the third generation of Tole 160 was launched, and it was also from this generation that the layout of the multi-purpose large-scale SUV; fourth-generation Tole Y60 was launched in 1987; the fifth generation of Tole Y61 was launched in 1997, when the Middle East version of Y61 was born, and it was widely used around the world as a United Nations work vehicle; in 2004, Nissan launched the revamped fifth-generation Tuller and added a new in-line six-cylinder 4.8L gasoline engine codenamed TD48DE.
In 2010, the sixth generation of Tuller Y62 was launched, and this generation of models is also the beginning of Nissan Tuller's entry into the Chinese market. In 2011, the sixth-generation original imported cars of Toure were introduced into the Chinese market through Zhengzhou Nissan sales channels; at the 11th Guangzhou International Automobile Show on November 21, 2013, at the NISSAN booth, Ren Yong, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Nissan passenger car Company, announced that imported Patrol Toure was officially listed and was sold in Dongfeng Nissan authorized stores from now on.
