In fact, as early as August, there were rumors of a shutdown at Evergrande's Tianjin plant, but Liu Yongzhao, president of Hengchi Automobile Group, quickly responded that "at present, Tianjin factory production is normal, and Hengchi 5 production is in an orderly way."

On October 29, Hengchi officially announced that the Hengchi 5 was officially delivered, with the first batch of 100 units. It is understood that Hengchi has laid out the first batch of delivery service centers in 19 cities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing and Haikou. Subsequent batches of vehicles will be delivered to car owners one after another. As a result, Evergrande has entered the second stage, from mass production to delivery.

Liu Yongzhao once said that "Hengchi 5 big sales have become a foregone conclusion", but now it has not become a reality. Despite Evergrande's crisis, it is not easy to build cars at the moment. Now, under the premise of Baojiao Building, Evergrande's future development is still pinning its hopes on the new energy business, while Evergrande lacks a professional automobile management team to provide more help for car building, and the road of building cars is getting narrower and narrower.

Xu Jiayin has said that Evergrande will shift from real estate to new energy within a decade. Earlier, Xu Jiayin said, "to achieve annual production and sales of more than 1 million vehicles by 2025 and more than 5 million by 2035, strive to become the largest and most powerful new energy vehicle group in the world."

The land is commercial and service land, the initial transfer price is about 7.54 billion yuan, and the bidding margin is about 800 million yuan. According to reports, the transferor of the T208-0054 land use rights is Evergrande Group, which won a price of 5.52 billion yuan in December 2017, with a land area of about 10400 square meters, and originally planned to build Evergrande's super headquarters.

The announcement shows that the Zongdi construction project has been suspended since September 2021, and the foundation pit pile foundation of the project has been completed. Due to the long-term shutdown and the main construction general contractor has not yet been calibrated, the follow-up work related to the foundation floor can not start normally. At the same time, due to financial problems, earthwork units and foundation pit support units have been suspended. There may be a series of risks in the project, including but not limited to foundation pit deformation, leakage cracks, corrosion of materials such as stagnant water, steel bars, affecting the construction of underground roads in the area, temporary land resumption, safety risks, and so on, the risks of related problems shall be assessed and borne by the bidder.

The announcement also indicates that there is a risk of overdue completion of the project, the risk of being identified as idle land, including, but not limited to, the expiration of the term of use of temporary land, arrears of fees for overdue use, arrears of project payment, claims by the other party to the contract, protection of rights, and so on. The economic and legal risks are assessed by the bidder.
