It is decided that from now on, a total of 1843 Dongfeng Citroen Versailles C5X cars manufactured during the period from February 22 to June 1, 2022 will be recalled.

The reason for the recall is that due to the manufacturing process of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the rubber pipe body at the connection part of some batches of fuel pipes may crack, resulting in fuel leakage in the course of use, the risk of fire can not be ruled out, and there is a safety hidden danger. In view of the above defects, Shenlong Automobile Co., Ltd. will inspect the vehicles within the scope of the recall and replace the low-pressure fuel pipes identified as risk batches free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.

Judging from the number of this recall, the number of Citroen Versailles C5X recalls is not large, accounting for only about 43.39% of February-May recalls. According to new car traffic insurance data, Citroen Versailles C5X delivered a total of 4247 vehicles from February to May in 2022.
