The reason for the recall is that due to the deviation in the assembly process of some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the glass decoration strip of the rear door window is not firmly fixed. In the process of vehicle driving, the glass decoration strip of the rear door window may be loose or fall off, which increases the risk of accidents or injury to other road users around the vehicle, and there are hidden dangers. In view of the above defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will, through authorized dealers, check whether the rear door window glass decoration strips are secure for vehicles within the scope of the recall. If loose, check whether the bracket of the decorative strip is damaged, if the bracket is intact, reinstall the bracket; if the bracket is damaged, replace the corresponding triangular window of the back door to eliminate safety risks.

2. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will recall some imported GLS SUV vehicles from January 25, 2019 to June 23, 2022 from January 13, 2023, totaling 29251.

The reason for the recall is that the springs in the third row seat back locking mechanism of some vehicles within the scope of this recall may not be installed in accordance with the requirements, resulting in the possible failure of the third row seat back lock in the event of a vehicle collision, and the fixing of the seat back will be affected. increase the risk of injury to the occupants, there are safety risks. In view of the above defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will, through authorized dealers, inspect the springs in the third row seat back locking mechanism for vehicles within the recall range. If the spring is missing or not properly installed, replace the corresponding seat back frame free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

3. Beijing Mercedes-Benz Motor Co., Ltd. will recall a total of 3041 C-class cars manufactured from October 28, 2021 to December 27, 2021 from December 19, 2022.

The reason for the recall is that some vehicles within the scope of this recall may crack because of the deviation in the manufacturing process of the transmission support. The force and vibration generated during the driving of the vehicle may damage the transmission support and reduce the height of the transmission.
