Specifically, Black Cat launched nine models with a price of 8.48-99800 yuan, while White Cat launched five models with a price of 8.68-103800 yuan. As a reference, the previous guidance price of Euler black cat is 6.98-84800 yuan, the guidance price of white cat is 7.18-88800 yuan, and the price of the two models has increased by about 15000 yuan.

On February 14, Euler's two miniature pure electric models, Euler Black Cat / White Cat, will not accept orders for new cars from now on. As soon as the news came out, it quickly caused a lot of speculation about the reason for "stopping taking orders". Subsequently, Euler CEO Dong Yudong said in an open letter on the official APP that the "stop taking orders" was due to the rising cost of raw materials for core components such as batteries, and that Euler black / white cats did not accept new orders for the time being, not an online suspension of production. Dong Yudong pointed out in the open letter: "take the black cat as an example, after a sharp rise in raw materials in 2022, the black cat lost more than 10,000 yuan per unit, but Euler will strive for resources to achieve the delivery of existing orders." According to data released at the time, about 20,000 orders for the two models had not been delivered and delivery would be completed by October this year.

Euler, an independent new energy brand of Great Wall, was officially launched on August 20, 2018. The first model, the Euler iQ, was officially launched on August 31, 2018, with a subsidised price of RMB8.98-105800. On December 26, 2018, the second production car, Euler R1, was officially put on the market with a price range of 5.98-77800 yuan after subsidy. On July 15, 2020, the third production car, the Eulabai Cat, was officially launched at an official price of 7.58 yuan to 88800 yuan. It is a model named after the Great Wall after the Harvard Dog. In order to improve the product camp, Euler R1 changed its name to Euler Black Cat on July 24, 2020, with a subsidised price range of 6.98-84800 yuan. On November 24, 2020, the fourth production car, Oula good Cat, was officially put on the market with a price range of 10.39-143900 yuan after subsidy.

Euler Black Cat / White Cat is a mini electric vehicle with a price of less than 100000 yuan under the Euler brand, with a cumulative sales volume of 173000 models from launch to completion. According to the data, the Euler brand sold a total of 135000 vehicles in 2021, including 66300 black cats, 50900 good cats and 20600 white cats. After entering 2022, due to the sharp rise in the price of raw materials and the shortage of spare parts, Euler lost more and more money on its sales, and a large number of accumulated orders also affected the delivery environment of Euler.

On July 12, Euler Ballet Cat officially went on sale, with a subsidised price range of 19.30 yuan to 223000 yuan. The model was not recognized by female consumers because the price was obviously too high. On October 31st, the Euler Lightning Cat officially went on sale with a price range of 18.98-269800 yuan. the new car is obviously different from the Euler "cat" series models in appearance, and is equipped with three versions of single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive.

Sales of the Euler brand have also reversed due to the loss of two low-cost models, black cat and white cat. Figures show that the Euler brand sold a total of 84700 vehicles in the first three quarters of 2022, only at the same level as last year. In terms of products, the prices of Euler Ballet Cats and Lightning Cats are both close to 200000 yuan, which is the most competitive price range in the current automobile market. Euler, as a brand that has won the market through low-cost models for a long time, it is not easy to achieve certain results.

Today, Euler black / white cats are not available for sale. As the name implies, the Euler Black Cat / White Cat models have been discontinued, while the models currently on sale may be in stock, and the prices are rising instead of falling, and whether consumers will pay the bill is also a big question.
