On the evening of December 3, Hechuang's brand new medium-sized pure electric car "Hechuang A06" was officially launched, with a total of three models with front-drive 550A, front-drive 630C and four-wheel-drive performance, with a price range of 179800-269800 yuan.

As the first pure electric car on the joint venture platform, the new car will be delivered as soon as it is put on the market. at present, the pioneer 550A and 630C have taken the lead in Guangzhou and Hangzhou, and the top four-wheel drive performance version is expected to be delivered next year. After the launch, the new car will compete with BYD Seal (209800-286800 yuan), Changan Deep Blue SL03 pure electric version (183900-215900 yuan) and Xiaopeng P7 (239900-285,900 yuan).

The new car is the first model based on the pure electric exclusive structure of Hechuang H-GEA, with a completely new design language in appearance, a closed grille design on the front face, a split headlight group on both sides, and a visual impact on the raised lines on both sides of the front hatch cover. On the side of the body, the new car is designed in a popular sedan style with smooth lines, extending from a waistline from the A column to the C column area, so that the rear shows a sense of vision, equipped with mainstream hidden door handles and low wind resistance hubs. Appearance color matching provides gray, white, black and blue four choices. In the rear part, the whole of the new car is simple, and the taillight adopts through-type design, which has a high degree of identification after lighting, and there is a "A06" sign under the right taillight to improve the recognition.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4965/1920/1520mm, the wheelbase is 2850mm, and the positioning is a medium-sized pure electric car. For comparison, the BYD seal's length, width and height are 4800/1875/1460mm and its wheelbase is 2920mm. By contrast, the new car is longer, wider and taller.

In the interior part, the new car adopts symmetrical layout, equipped with 10.25-inch LCD instrument and 14.6-inch suspended central control screen, the whole center console has almost no traditional physical buttons, only air conditioning outlet design, and the rest of the functions are concentrated on the central control large-size touch screen, the design style is relatively simple.

In terms of power, the new car offers two versions of single and dual motors, the entry version is equipped with a front single motor, the maximum power is 135kW and 160kW, the peak torque is 225N ·m, and the maximum mileage of CLTC is 550km and 630km respectively; the top four-wheel drive performance version is equipped with front and rear motors, equipped with 71kWh ternary lithium battery pack, CLTC pure electric range exceeds 560km.

Compared with the current mainstream new car-building power, Synergy is not well-known in the market. Official figures show that Synergy sold 3013 vehicles in November 2022, with 3000 delivered for the third month in a row, of which 3011 and 3123 were delivered from September to October, respectively.

Hechuang Automobile was founded in April 2018, formerly known as GAC NIO, and is jointly owned by GAC GROUP, GAC Ean, Lulai Fund, Lulai Automobile and the founding team. In August 2022, the shareholders of Hechuang changed, and Shanghai Ulai Automobile Co., Ltd. withdrew from the ranks of shareholders of Hechuang, and the cooperation between Ulai and GAC GROUP was formally informed. Equity penetration shows that Hechuang Automobile is currently jointly owned by five companies, of which Guangdong Zhutou Intelligent Technology Investment Co., Ltd. is the largest shareholder holding 68.55%, Guangzhou Automobile Ean New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. holds 20.54%. Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. holds 4.45%, Guangzhou Chuangjin Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) holds 1.98%. After the exit, Yaoyu Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. took over the 4.45% stake in NIO.

Hechuang's new energy vehicle brand is Co-chuang HYCAN, which currently has two models on sale: the Co-Chuang 007 and the Co-Chuang Z03. On April 10, 2020, Guangzhou Auto NIO's first model, Hechuang 007, was officially put on the market, with a current price of 299800 yuan. GAC is responsible for vehicle research and development and production, and Xilai is responsible for providing intelligent network technology and battery energy support system. Guangqi Wei to provide sales channels. From the perspective of brand background, although the new car is supported by two major car companies, Guangzhou Automobile and Xilai, the market performance of the new car is not good. According to the data of new car traffic insurance, the cumulative sales of Hechuang 007 in 2021 was only 395, down 16.14% from the same period last year.

In the first half of 2021, Guang Qi Wei Lai CEO, Li Bin, chairman Li Bin, Gu Huinan, general manager of GAC E'an, and Wu Jian, president of GAC R&D CENTER, all withdrew from GAC NIO. Soon GQ Wei came to obtain 2.405 billion yuan of strategic financing from the Pearl River Investment Management Group, and then became the largest shareholder of GAC NIO. In May 2021, Guangqi NIO officially changed its name to Hechuang Automobile and launched the second production model, Hechuang Z03, which currently sells in the range of 13.28 yuan to 178800 yuan. after its launch, the sales volume is much higher than that of Hechuang 007, but it is still not competitive with the same class of models. Traffic insurance data show that only 1046 vehicles have been sold since the launch of the Hechuang Z03 in 2021.

From January to October in 2022, the Hechuang Z03 sold 9783 vehicles, while the Hechuang 007 sold only 119, including only 4 in October, according to new car traffic insurance data. The listing of Hechuang A06 will further improve Hechuang's product matrix and fill the gap in its pure electric medium-sized car segment. However, the automotive industry is concerned that it is not easy for Hechuang to rely on Hechuang 06 models to seize market share. on the one hand, the current pure electric medium car market segment competition is very fierce. As a reference, in October 2022, the traffic insurance data of the same class of models BYD Seal, Changan Deep Blue SL03 and Xiaopeng P7 were 7783, 6456 and 2115 respectively. On the other hand, the brand's appeal in the market is relatively weak, as are the sales of the two models on sale. Of course, as the new car has just been delivered, as a latecomer, the final future of the Co-Chuang A06 remains to be verified.
