At the same time, in order to impact the annual sales target, more car companies have joined the ranks of "promoting and selling cars".

On December 9, Wuling announced that it would grant 2 billion car purchase subsidies within December 2022, including Wuling New Energy, Wuling passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and other models, of which Wuling New Energy vehicle Hongguang MINI EV can enjoy a maximum subsidy of 8888 yuan for car purchase and 20, 000 yuan for Wuling passenger cars.

According to the attention of the automobile industry, the Hongguang MINI EV is a popular model under Wuling, with a current price range of 3.28-99900 yuan. According to new car traffic insurance data, in the first 10 months of this year, Hongguang MINI EV delivered a total of 40369 vehicles, an increase of 12.8% over the same period last year.

Although some mainstream car companies in the car market have stepped up their promotion efforts since November, many car companies have failed to meet better sales expectations due to the impact of the epidemic. According to data from the China Automobile Association, the domestic passenger car production and sales figures in November 2022 were 2.151 million and 2.075 million respectively, down 3.9% and 5.6% respectively from the same period last year, and 7.8% and 7% respectively from the previous month. In other words, the overall car market in November was not as expected, both year-on-year and year-on-year decline. They are Cyrus (121.54% completion rate), BYD (108.89 completion rate), GAC GROUP (91.68% completion rate), Changan Automobile (85.32% completion rate) and Jianghuai Automobile (80.55% completion rate). However, the annual sales completion rates of ideal Automobile, Great Wall Automobile, Xiaopeng Automobile, BAIC Blue Valley and Zero Motor are all less than 60% in the first November, which means that they basically miss the annual sales target.

This month is the last month of 2022 and a critical moment for many car companies to sprint for annual sales. The Federation expects that the market for new energy vehicles and low-and medium-end fuel vehicles will pick up in December, of which domestic new energy passenger car sales may reach 760000, achieving the annual sales forecast of 6.5 million vehicles.
