It is understood that Zhiji LS7 is the second production car of Zhiji, and the new car is located in a large pure electric SUV, which almost completely inherits the design style of the concept car and is expected to be put on the market in mid-February 2023.

The appearance of Zhiji LS7 is basically the same as that of the original concept version, with a simple design style on the front face, an "L" style on both sides of the headlight group, and internal LED eyebrows. The external light source of the whole vehicle is all LED, but Zhiji LS7 is not equipped with programmable headlights like Zhiji L7, and there are fewer channels of "communication" with the outside world. In addition, the front enclosure of the new car is designed with three sets of ventilation openings, the openings on both sides are equipped with LED daytime driving lights, and the through vents below increase the horizontal visual width.

The side of the body, the roof line is more smooth, the side of the body does not have too much rib line design, using a more quality waistline and raised door rib line, highlighting the sense of movement of the new car. In the rear part, the new car is equipped with a large roof spoiler, and the taillights are designed with penetrating design, which is highly recognizable after lighting. In addition, the rear enclosure of the new car also adopts a double-layer design, and a wrapped tail diffuser style is formed below, which has a full sense of movement as a whole. In terms of interior decoration, the new car adopts the triple screen design of LCD dashboard, central control screen and co-driver display screen. In terms of power, Zhiji LS7 will provide both rear-drive and four-wheel drive power versions. The rear-drive model will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with the maximum power of 250kW; the maximum power of the front motor of the four-wheel drive model is 175kW, the maximum power of the rear motor is 250kW, and the peak torque of the system is 725N ·m, and both the front and rear motors are permanent magnet synchronous motors. In terms of batteries, Zhiji LS7 will be equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack provided by SAIC era, which can provide 660km battery life for rear-drive models with a battery capacity of 100kWhGrainCLTC, while the mileage data of the four-wheel drive model have not been officially released.

In order to achieve excellent dynamic performance, Zhiji LS7 is not only equipped with air shock absorbers, but also equipped with hardware including Beshiden DampTronic electromagnetic dynamic damping regulation system, Brembo high-performance brakes and other hardware, and the chassis has also been adjusted by the British Williams forward-looking engineering team.

Zhiji Automobile is a high-end new energy brand jointly created by SAIC, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech and Alibaba. It has been highly expected since its birth. Perhaps aware of their late entry, compared with the "Wei Xiaoli" brand launch only a year after the launch of the first model, while Zhiji released its products less than 20 days after the brand launch. In April this year, Zhiji L7 began pre-sale with a pre-sale price of 408800 yuan, and delivery began in June.

As for the sales volume of the L7 model, Zhiji said at that time that this model was expected to be among the top three in the delivery volume of medium and large luxury pure electric cars, and when this model came on the market, Zhiji also said many times that "Zhiji L7 has become the fastest luxury pure electric car with a cumulative delivery volume of more than 350000 yuan in China."

Based on the favorable atmosphere created by Zhiji officials, coupled with Zhiji relying on Alibaba, SAIC Group and Zhang Jian Hi-Tech Group, this brand and products have indeed won widespread favor both inside and outside the industry. However, the sales performance of Zhiji L7 is not optimistic.

The car sold 203cars in the first month, ranking eighth on the list of large new energy models in the month, while BYD EV, ET7 and Polar Krypton 001 ranked in the top three with 25209, 4349 and 4302 respectively, according to the Federation of passengers. Since then, the Zhiji L7 has not achieved significant growth, with sales of 816,1007, 1019, 860,608 respectively from July to November, with a total sales of 4513 vehicles by the end of last month.

As a new brand and a direct counterpart to the main BBA model, it is not too bad to achieve such sales, but as a brand determined to hit the high end, thousands of vehicles a month is far from enough. In any case, if Zhiji wants to complete the "high-end" recognition of the brand by users and the market, there is an urgent need for the popular style of selling 10,000 vehicles a month to endorse it.
