Crown SportCross is based on TNGA architecture and is no longer familiar to us. The new car uses Toyota's latest family design language, and the forward air grille has a black spindle layout, which is more easily accepted by young users than the straight waterfall style of the car. At the same time, the headlamp group is connected to the forward air grille to form a penetrating design, and the front center is marked with a brand new crown LOGO. In addition, the front of the new car is surrounded by a large heat dissipation and ventilation opening design, and the bottom is embellished with penetrating chrome-plated decorative strips, which further enhances the texture of its stylish personality.

On the side of the car body, the new car adopts a slip-back car body structure, the roof line extends backward from the B column to meet the rear of the car, the vehicle waistline extends from the front wing plate to the rear door, and the front and rear wing plate of the new car is slightly wider than the car body. with large-size rims and black eyebrows, showing a strong cross-border style. In terms of appearance, the overall style is more young and fashionable, the headlamp group and bonnet lines similar to the C shape on both sides are basically the same as the Crown SportCross, while the straight waterfall intake grille dominated by black piano paint brings a strong visual impact, which adds some calm aura compared to the Crown SportCross. In addition, the headlamp groups on both sides of the car are equipped with the popular through-type LED light belt, and the headlights are composed of four light sources arranged side by side, making the overall shape longer and narrower.

The side of the car body still uses relatively smooth lines, with the aura that luxury medium and large cars should have. In the rear part, the Crown Sedan uses through-type taillights, the rear door of the trunk is designed with canard wings, and the rear is designed with integrated taillights similar to Mirai, with Toyota LOGO in the middle, the English logo "CROWN" below, and a more rounded line treatment on the overall outline of the tail. The new generation of Crown no longer returns as a single traditional car structure, but as a Crown brand, bringing in a number of derivative models such as crossover cars, sedans, travel versions and SUV, and after a new design, it is obviously no longer the crown we used to be familiar with. Of course, the change in the crown is the inevitable result of the rapid change in the market, and it is also the only way for the crown to return to the market, but it is believed that Toyota cannot guarantee whether consumers will pay for this change and whether it will be able to restore its former glory.
