It is decided to recall some of the 2022 Lulai ET5 electric vehicles manufactured from September 7, 2022 to October 10, 2022 from January 6, 2023.

The reason for this recall is that when the vehicle in the recall area has a serious frontal collision, the shock absorber tower in the front cabin may squeeze the high-voltage wire harness after impact deformation, which in extreme cases will cause high-voltage wire harness damage and short circuit with the car body, resulting in safety risks. In view of the above defects, Shanghai Ulai Automobile Co., Ltd. will install high-strength insulation protection sleeves for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.
