The new car is the third generation of Xiaoke, which was first launched in February 2021 and is based on Nissan's CMF-C platform. As a replacement model, the new car is more athletic in appearance, with a comprehensive upgrade of body size and a brand new 1.3T four-cylinder engine. According to the plan, the new car will be available in the second quarter of this year.

In appearance, the new car uses a new design language, the front face is designed with a honeycomb structure, the internal grid is smoked black, and the middle is inlaid with the brand new Nissan brand LOGO, with slender headlights on both sides, making the whole more athletic and exquisite.

The new car has sharp lines on the side and a suspension style on the roof. According to the declaration information, the new car will be available in three tire sizes: 215Universe 65 R17, 235Universe 55 R18 and 235Universe 50 R19, as well as a two-color body.

In the rear part, the new car taillights are also designed in a slender shape, which basically echoes with the headlights. Compared with the current model, the word "Qashqai" at the rear of the new car was moved to the bottom of the brand LOGO, while the silver decorative panel was removed. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a blackened spoiler, the bumper is designed for up and down segments, to enhance the visual hierarchy of the whole car, and the exhaust layout is a hidden design.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4440/1840/1627mm, and the wheelbase is 2665mm. As a contrast, the length, width and height of the current car is 4401/1837/1611mm, and the wheelbase is 2646mm. By contrast, the size of the new car has been improved in an all-round way. As a reference, the overseas version of Xiaoke is equipped with a 12.3inch full LCD instrument, a 9-inch suspended central LCD screen and an electronic block, and the high-end model is also equipped with a 10-speaker BOSE stereo. In terms of power, the new car has been replaced with a brand new 1.3T four-cylinder engine with a maximum net power of 116kW, which is 5 kilowatts higher than the current 2.0L engine, and the transmission will match the CVT gearbox.

In addition to this model, the model with e-POWER hybrid system will also be put into production in China in the future, and the official map of the model was released in March 2022. The appearance design is basically the same as that of Xinxiaoke, only different in some details, such as the new car adds the word "e-POWER" to the rear, and the power will be equipped with a 1.5T three-cylinder turbocharged engine.

Dongfeng Nissan is the main model of Xiaoke, which was first unveiled at Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2007. it officially went on sale on March 12, 2008. the price range is 16.78-219800 yuan, and it provides 2.0L gasoline engine, maximum power 102kW and maximum torque 198Nm. According to statistics, once Xiaoke made its debut, it won 5000 orders. against this background, Dongfeng Nissan set an annual sales target of 50, 000 vehicles in 2008, but in the end, Xiaoke sold only 23800 vehicles, which failed to meet the annual sales target on schedule. In October 2015, the second generation of Xiaoke went on sale in China, with a price range of 13.98-189800 yuan, with 1.2T and 2.0L self-priming engines, matching six-speed manual and CVT gearbox. Based on the fact that this generation outperforms its peers in all aspects, it has become the best-selling model of the same class after its launch, with sales of about 140000 vehicles in 2016, according to data.

The declaration picture exposed this time is the third generation model of Xiaoke. According to the comprehensive positioning of the new car, the new car will compete with and compete with Volkswagen Tango, Honda XR-V and colorful Intelligence after its launch. According to new car traffic insurance data, Dongfeng Nissan's cumulative sales from January to November in 2022 were 700235, down 24.08% from the same period last year, and its market share was only 2.98%. Among them, Xiaoke sales fell 9.22% year-on-year to 130151, accounting for only 18.59% of the total sales. Xuanyi fell 20.12% to 362565 and Teana fell 3.73% to 135168.

According to the latest data, Dongfeng Nissan (Nissan, Qichen and Infiniti brands) sold a total of 902000 vehicles in 2022, down 21.4% from the same period last year and falling below 1 million. For comparison, from 2020 to 2021, Dongfeng Nissan sold 1.133 million vehicles a year and 1.135 million vehicles a year. For Dongfeng Nissan, there is an urgent need to launch a popular model to boost its sales. As for whether the new generation of Xiaoke can change Dongfeng's daily production and sales after listing remains to be verified.

As a reference, the price range of Xiaoke currently on sale is 15.49-188900 yuan, and it is expected that the price of the new generation of entry-level models may be around 150000 yuan.
