In September 2021, Huawei issued a personnel appointment notice for smart car solutions, and Wang Jun, former president of Huawei smart car solutions BU, was transferred to BU COO and president of smart driving solutions product line. In addition, Yu Chengdong continues to serve as BU CEO of Huawei's smart car solution. The focus of the adjustment is that Wang Jun became president of Huawei's smart car solution BU in May 2021 and was transferred to Huawei's smart car solution BU COO in just four months, changing from president to COO. Wang Jun needs to report to Yu Chengdong.

In May 2019, when Ren Zhengfei issued the organization change document, Huawei formally established the smart car solution BU, which is managed by the ICT management committee and belongs to Huawei's first-tier department. The president is Wang Jun, and the top person is Xu Zhijun. According to a phone summary of Huawei's in-depth interpretation of smart driving, BU, a smart car solution, has three business models: Tier1 (traditional parts supplier model, which supplies intelligent parts to car companies), HI mode (Huawei Inside mode) and smart selection mode.

The models adopted by AITO and BAIC polar fox are different, and it seems that the leaders behind them are also different. Xu Zhijun, Huawei's rotating chairman, and heads of various BU departments of smart car solutions were present on important occasions such as the cooperation signing of Avita Technology and the launch of new cars, but Yu Chengdong never showed up. The same is true of the partnership with BAIC, where Huawei and BAIC signed contracts as early as 2017 and then signed three more contracts, mainly attended by Xu Zhijun and Wang Jun, while Yu Chengdong also made few appearances. Yu Chengdong did not appear until the ARCFOX extreme Fox Alpha S Huawei HI version was officially listed. As a result, do Avita and Wangjie belong to different management areas within Huawei?

According to relevant reports, Huawei's cooperation with BAIC and Changan is signed by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., while the contract signed with Cyrus is Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd. Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., which provides software and hardware solutions, has a large weight in the HI model and is under the charge of Xu Zhijun. Insurance figures show that AROFOX sold 11895 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 146.43% over the same period last year, while AITO sold 70438 vehicles. The market believes that if Wang Jun is suspended, it may be related to the low sales of ARCFOX.
