The interior design of the new generation of elites is temporarily unknown, but it is expected to be consistent with the new Accord. Referring to the eleventh generation Accord, the overall interior design basically refers to the new generation Civic, CR-V and other models, the central control LCD screen under the knob control unit, through air outlet and suspension central control screen, which is similar to the eleventh generation Honda Civic. The transmission system matches the CVT continuously variable transmission. With reference to current models, the new car is expected to continue to offer gas-electric hybrid models, equipped with a hybrid system of 2.0L naturally aspirated engines and motors, matched by an E-CVT gearbox.

Accord is a classic model of Honda, which has a history of 38 years. In 1994, the fifth generation Honda Accord came to China as an import. In July 1998, Guangzhou Automobile Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. (formerly Guangzhou Honda Automobile Co., Ltd.) was formally established as a joint venture company jointly funded by Guangzhou Automobile Group and Honda Technology Research Industry Co., Ltd., each holding 50% of the shares. The following year, GAC Honda introduced the sixth generation Accord into domestic production, becoming the first domestic model under GAC Honda. Up to now, Accord development has gone through ten update iterations. In October 2018, Dongfeng Honda launched the INSPIRE, a sister model of Accord. The two models are very similar in appearance and shape, and are only adjusted for some of the detailed designs to emphasize differentiation. In October 2021, Dongfeng Honda officially announced that "INSPIRE" was named "Yingshi School" in Chinese. The following month, the mid-term revamped Esquire officially went on sale, with a total of eight models, including four fuel versions and four hybrid models, with a price range of 17.99-255900 yuan. From the perspective of product development, the time to market of Yingshi School obviously lags behind Accord.

In addition, Accord sales are also higher than those of the Yingshi School. As a medium-sized car owned by Dongfeng Honda, Camry's most direct competitor is Accord. According to the Federation of passengers, Accord sold 220771 vehicles in 2022, compared with 77266 for Yingshi. There is a huge gap between the two models. In contrast, consumers prefer to choose authentic Accord models. In addition, in the midsize car market, Yingshi is aimed at Nissan Teana, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Passat / Maiteng and other models, the gap between these three models in the market is also large, with Camry sales of 242225 in 2022, Passat / Maiteng 163,532, 152,427, and Teana 152427.

On Feb. 13, Dongfeng Honda said that Honda's pure electric cars and fuel cell vehicles would account for 40% of sales in 2030, 80% by 2035 and 100% by 2040. After 2030, Honda will no longer launch new fuel vehicles in the Chinese market, and all the new models will be electric models such as pure electric cars and hybrids. During the year, Dongfeng Honda will launch a number of new models, including the new SUV "HR-V" in addition to the new Yingshi, as well as new independent brands. By 2025, the proportion of Dongfeng Honda electrified products will reach 50%.
