A group of medium-term modified BMW X7 M60i real car photos have been exposed online, which also means that the new car is about to start delivery in China. The new car is the top model of the new BMW X7, which was previously announced at a domestic price of 1.729 million yuan.

In terms of appearance, the new car uses BMW's latest family design language, which is obviously different from the previous generation of models. Specifically, the front face of the new car uses the BMW family's classic double-kidney-shaped intake grille design, supplemented by black straight waterfall structure chrome trim decoration. The big change is that the headlights on both sides of the new car have been replaced by a split styling design, the upper LED daytime driving lights are long and narrow, and the lower far and near lights are embedded in the front to surround both ends, making the front face very personalized. The front enclosure uses a common three-stage design style, with a vertical layout of the diversion groove, and the bottom is a three-dimensional polygon air inlet supplemented by a sturdy black panel decoration, which shows that the whole vehicle has a sense of visual movement.

On the side of the body, the shape of the new car is basically the same as that of the old BMW X7, and the through waistline design makes the visual effect of the whole car slimmer and more layered, and the side windows and side skirts are embellished with sturdy chrome strips to highlight the sense of luxury. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 4.4T V8 double turbocharged engine and a 48V light mixing system with a maximum power of 530 horsepower and a peak torque of 750N ·m. In terms of transmission, it matches the 8-speed manual self-integrated gearbox and the xDrive four-wheel drive system, with an acceleration time of 4.7 seconds for 100 kilometers.

The BMW X7 is BMW's flagship SUV, which is based on BMW Group's latest CLAR platform and is BMW's first large-scale SUV product. As early as June 2008, BMW announced that it would produce a large SUV BMW X7 and positioned it as the largest SUV model in the BMW family, but the BMW X7 production project was stranded because of the poor global economic situation at that time. It wasn't until the economy improved that the BMW X7 was back on the agenda.

The BMW X7 M60i model is the top model of the mid-term modified BMW X7.

In the domestic market, although the BMW X7 positioning million-level products, the audience is not as good as the domestic soon-to-be BMW X5, but compared with the same level of products, the BMW X7 market performance is still impressive. Data show that the BMW X7 has sold about 150000 vehicles worldwide since 2019. Among them, according to new car traffic insurance data, BMW X7 sales in 2022 was 10500. For comparison, competitor Mercedes-Benz GLS sold 19300 vehicles in 2022, range Rover 9900 and Lincoln navigator 2100.

The latest figures show that BMW X7 sales in January 2023 were 860, down 38.13% from a year earlier.
