A total of 2929 iX electric vehicles were manufactured from July 27, 2021 to October 19, 2022.

Due to unreasonable voltage monitoring threshold setting of high voltage battery control unit (SME) microcontroller in the scope of this recall, the software may misjudge, resulting in accidental interruption of vehicle charging or shutdown of high voltage system, which in extreme cases will cause power interruption and safety risks.

Brilliance BMW Co., Ltd., BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will carry out software programming for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

Recall 33021 domestic i3 electric vehicles from April 14, 2022 to January 11, 2023, and some iX3 electric vehicles from November 26, 2020 to January 19, 2023.

There is a problem with the software signal processing logic of the pedestrian protection warning tone control unit of the vehicle within the scope of this recall, which may cause the vehicle to be unable to issue an external pedestrian protection warning tone when driving at low speed or reversing, increasing the risk of pedestrian injury and safety risks.

Brilliance BMW Co., Ltd. will carry out software programming for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

Recall a total of 763 imported 7 series cars from July 19, 2022 to December 15, 2022.

Due to the software problem of the front passenger seat module control unit, the vehicles within the scope of this recall may not be able to identify the correct position of the seat, resulting in the unavailability of the airbag of the front passenger, resulting in safety risks.

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will carry out software programming for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
