According to the lawyer's letter, on February 23, 2023, Geely held a "Geely Galaxy New Energy Strategy Conference" with the theme of "Smart Electric, still Geely" at the main venue of the Hangzhou Asian Games. At the press conference, Geely released the Geely Galaxy "Galaxy Light" prototype car. By comparison, it is found that the prototype car has a large number of similarities with Changan automobile concept car and mass production model, and is suspected of infringing Changan automobile intellectual property rights. Geely released the "Galaxy Light" prototype car without Changan Automobile permission, suspected of plagiarizing the appearance of Changan Automobile released models, has seriously violated the relevant intellectual property rights of Changan Automobile, Changan Automobile has the right to ask Geely to stop the relevant behavior. In view of the above, we hereby formally inform Geely to stop the infringement immediately, and Changan Automobile will reserve the right to take further legal measures.

According to the data, Chen Zheng joined Changan Automobile immediately after graduation. as an automobile design engineer, Chen Zheng successively served as the creative designer of Changan Automobile, the global design director of Changan Automobile, the chief brand operating officer, the chairman of Changan European Design Center, and the press spokesperson. During his tenure in Changan Automobile, he has completed the design of popular models such as Changan Yiyou, CS35, Yuexiang V7, CS75 and so on.

In response to the above incident, Geely Automobile Group issued a statement at noon saying: the contents of the above lawyer's letter are seriously false, the accusations against our company are groundless, mislead the public, and have caused serious damage to our brand and goodwill. Third, Geely Galactic Light is an original intelligent electric vehicle that integrates Geely ripple aesthetics, Chinese aesthetics and intelligent science and technology in the new energy era.
