The new car is based on the SGP platform, adopts the family's latest design, and is powered by a 2.5L engine. The price of the new car is expected to be around 190000 yuan.

It is understood that CROSSTREK is the name of Subaru XV in some overseas markets and will become the global name of Subaru XV in the future. The current model is still named Subaru XV in China and the United States. According to the latest report, Subaru has registered the trademarks of "Blade Leopard" and "Xubao", and it is expected that the Chinese name of the new car will be "Blade Leopard".

Prior to the debut of the new car, the appearance of the new car, the overall continuation of the cash model design style, but optimized in the details. The front face of the new car uses a fumigated grille, the interior is supplemented by a honeycomb design, the headlights on both sides are penetrated by a trim, the middle is the brand LOGO, the lower grille adopts the "inverted L" design, and a large number of black plastic materials are added to the bumper, making the overall recognition extremely high.

On the side of the body, the new car is equipped with door handles of the same color as the body, roof luggage rack, black door and window trim and 18-inch blade sports wheels. According to new car traffic insurance data, Subaru XV domestic sales in 2022 were only 690 vehicles, down 55.02% from the same period last year. By comparison, Dongfeng Honda CR-V sold 210162 vehicles, FAW Toyota RAV4 162724 and Guangzhou Auto Mitsubishi Outlander 25860. Subaru XV sales are dismal by comparison. For Subaru, the launch of the new Subaru XV may inject new blood into its sales, but it may be difficult to change its poor sales at home.
