AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)03/20 Report--
According to Jiangsu Public News, Mr. Zhou from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province bought a Lulai ES8 as a company car. Recently, the front wheel stabilizer bracket suddenly broke while driving.
It is reported that Mr. Zhou drove the car from the company at more than 4: 00 p.m. on February 1st. As soon as he entered Black Tortoise Avenue, he heard a noise on the left and in front of the car. "I didn't care much at that time," Mr. Zhou said. "when I arrived at my destination, I stopped to check and felt that there was something wrong with the direction." He then drove the car to the 4S store to check and found that the front lateral stabilizing rod connecting rod bracket had been broken.
Mr. Zhou recalled that the ES8 was bought here in June 2021, and from the moment he got the new car until the fault was discovered on February 1st, he drove the car and did the daily maintenance. For more than a year, it has driven 100000 kilometers, during which there has never been a major traffic accident, and there has never been a collision at the broken front lateral stabilizing rod connecting rod support.
In the Nanjing Dongyuan store of the NIO Authorization Center, you can see that the connecting rod bracket of the lateral stabilizing rod in front of the Lulai ES8 has been broken, with one end drooping on the inside of the left front wheel of the vehicle involved, the other end is also connected to the car body, and the screw originally used to secure the bracket at the fracture has also completely fallen off. Mr. Zhou believes that the maintenance has just been done on January 30, and this situation occurred on February 1, which is entirely a problem with the quality of the car.
Mr. Zhou said that when there was a failure, it was good to drive in the city, and the speed of the car was not fast. If it happened on the highway, such a failure would most likely result in a car crash and death. In order to solve this problem, the after-sale solution proposed by NIO is to repair it for free and give away 10,000 yuan worth of service rights and interests, but it was rejected by Mr. Zhou. Mr. Zhou believes that there is a problem with the safety and quality of the car and hopes to get a full refund.
Qin Youyue, vice president and secretary-general of the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that the main function of the front lateral stabilizing rod connecting rod bracket is to relieve pressure on the shock absorber and increase the stability of the vehicle. If it breaks, it is recommended to replace it as soon as possible. This thing is commonly known as "stabilizing rod connecting rod". Usually, if this accessory is broken, it will not be a big problem, but the inclination of the car will be too large when turning the corner.
Wang Jimin, user experience officer of Xilai Automobile in Nanjing, said that after a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle involved, it was confirmed as a failure of the front lateral stabilizing rod connecting rod support. NIO is willing to provide free replacement of the front lateral stabilizing rod connecting rod bracket for the vehicles involved, as well as a comprehensive inspection of related parts. At present, the relevant spare parts are ready, and the maintenance will be completed as soon as possible after obtaining the authorization of the user. As for Mr. Zhou's request for a full return of the car, it does not comply with the provisions of the three guarantees Law, and we are unable to meet the demands of users.
