At the same time, Mullen has obtained the intellectual property license and exclusive distribution right of K50/DragonFLY in the North and South American markets. Mullen will complete vehicle engineering in accordance with American standards and carry out final assembly in Mishauca, Indiana.

It said in the article that the two sides will jointly expand the American market by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the US listed automobile company Mullen Automotive, Inc. At the same time, it is pointed out that the cooperation between the two sides began as early as 2019, and the signing of this cooperation agreement makes the future K50 in the North American market from the marketing stage to the substantive production and sales stage. The cooperation area between the two sides will also be expanded from the North American market to the entire American market.

Mullen Automotive, a Southern California-based automaker, was founded on April 20, 2010, according to official sources. At present, the situation of Mullen is not very optimistic. As a US new power car company listed on Nasdaq, its share price has been below $1 for a long time. Nasdaq has twice told Mullen to boost its share price to more than $1, otherwise it will be delisted.

Relevant data show that Future Automobile was established in 2015, its start is not late, while most new energy vehicle companies are still worried about production qualification, Future Automobile obtained the production qualification of NDRC New Energy vehicle in 2016, obtained the production qualification of New Energy vehicle of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2018, and listed its first electric supercar Future K50 in August 2018, with a unified price of 686800 yuan nationwide after subsidy. In addition, its parent company Great Wall Huaguan was exposed to a deep operating crisis after it founded Future Automobile in 2015, with losses of 22 million yuan, 98 million yuan, 226 million yuan and 606 million yuan respectively from 2015 to 2018. The continuous loss of the parent company has also affected the pace of the future car to a certain extent, and the future K50 has to stop production and wait for assistance. In February 2019, Future Motor was also revealed to be in trouble. At the end of 2019, Future Motor and its parent company, Great Wall Huaguan, were reported to have defaulted on employees' wages and used employee information for loans. In November 2020, Future Automobile was revealed to have broken its capital chain, forced the withdrawal of the country's first store in Sanlitun, and the delivery center at Jingang Automobile Park was also empty. Since then, Future Automobile and its parent company, Great Wall Huaguan, began to fade out of the market, which is also defined by the industry as difficult to return to the market. However, after a year of silence, the official account of Future Automobile began to resume its push. And in June last year, it launched its second model, the Future K20, with a pre-sale price range of 8.68 yuan to 149800 yuan, returning to the new energy car track.

It is worth noting that Future Automobile is obsessed with the sports car market, which runs counter to the main theme of the current market. Although the future K20 positioning small two-door electric sports car does have some core competitiveness in terms of price, it is not easy to get a lot of attention in the new energy market. Relevant data show that at present, there are more than 400 new car manufacturers registered in China, but I am afraid only a few of them can be remembered by consumers. The situation of Future Automobile is actually the epitome of most of the new car-building forces, because of financing difficulties, weak technology, unclear positioning, lack of follow-up development funds and other reasons, the smaller car-building new forces gradually fade out of people's field of vision.
