ARCFOX, the high-end electric car brand of BAIC New Energy, will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, which opens in March, and will also unveil two new models, the second-generation ARCFOX-7 sports car, the Standard Tesla and the new all-electric SUV.

ARCFOX sounds like a foreign brand, but it is actually a middle-and high-end brand of BAIC New Energy that focuses on the production of pure electric vehicles. It was launched in August 2016, the first electric supercar concept model is the ARCFOX-7.

In June 2018, BAIC New Energy and Magna International AG officially signed a contract in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and the two sides established a joint venture to jointly promote the high-end intelligent pure electric vehicle project. The joint venture develops a high-end intelligent pure electric vehicle sharing platform, customizes specific model products according to customer needs, and provides new energy vehicle engineering services. At the same time, the two sides discussed the use of BAIC Zhenjiang plant asset facilities for intelligent transformation and upgrading, engaged in the production of high-end intelligent pure electric vehicles, and plan to first put into production related models of BAIC New Energy ARCFOX.

The second-generation ARCFOX-7 uses a lightweight design and a brand new powertrain, with 0-100km/h acceleration of only 2.7s and a maximum range of 400-500km. According to the official trailer chart, the second ARCFOX model is expected to be an SUV model with a slippery body style.
