1. From now on, a total of 211049 imported GLE SUV and ML vehicles with production dates from September 30, 2011 to February 15, 2019 will be recalled.

Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may have water due to lax sealing of the trunk due to production deviation, which will affect the fuel pump control unit installed in the spare tire cabin. In extreme cases, it may lead to the loss of engine power and the existence of safety risks.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd., through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, will install free drainage seals at the bottom of the trunk for vehicles within the recall range to prevent water accumulation in the trunk; if moisture or stagnant water is found in the area around the fuel pump control unit, the fuel pump control unit will be replaced free of charge at the same time In addition, water leakage in the trunk or spare tire compartment caused by the defects in this recall will be repaired free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

2. From now on, a total of 32530 imported GLE and GLS SUV vehicles with production dates from October 21, 2018 to December 3, 2020 will be recalled. This recall belongs to the expanded recall of some imported GLE SUV cars issued by Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. Due to incorrect installation of air conditioning drainage hoses in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, condensed water from air conditioners may enter the occupant cabin, corrode the electrical components installed in the area, and increase the risk of vehicle fire and collision.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will, through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, check the installation of air conditioning drainage hoses for vehicles within the recall area free of charge and reinstall them correctly as needed; if the problem causes damage to other parts, it will be replaced as necessary to eliminate safety risks.
