In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a simple design style, which is different from the existing model style of Volkswagen ID family. Specifically speaking, the front face adopts closed front grille design, with narrow and long penetrating LED headlights on both sides, and brand LOGO identification in the middle. In addition, the new car is surrounded by a trapezoidal grille design with a small air intake on both sides, making the overall visual effect more simple and sporty. At the rear of the car, the shape of the new car is square, the tail is equipped with through-type LED tail lamp group design and blackened treatment, the brand LOGO identification is embedded in the middle, the bottom is surrounded by simplicity, and the black surround has a penetrating red light belt above, which makes the rear of the car very layered. In terms of power, the new car will provide two options: single-motor rear drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive models. According to the analysis of sales volume of Volkswagen subdivided brands, the data of new vehicle traffic insurance shows that the annual sales volume of new energy passenger vehicles in 2022 is 5.249 million, and the penetration rate in narrow passenger car market is 25.5%, among which the annual cumulative sales volume of SAIC Volkswagen new energy vehicles is 88,700; FAW-Volkswagen is 84,700, which is far behind BYD, Tesla and other new energy head automobile enterprises. According to the plan, Volkswagen will launch 25 electric models by 2030. In 2023, Volkswagen will launch new ID.3, ID.7, ID. Buzz long wheelbase version, CUPRA Tavascan and Audi Q8 e-tron respectively. For this ID.7 model, Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen passenger car brand, said: "With the launch of ID.7, we have expanded our pure electric car products into the high-end sedan field. The ID.7 is one of ten electric vehicles we plan to launch globally by 2026, and our goal is to provide the right product for users in every model class."
