On April 24th, the latest batch of vehicle evaluation results of China Insurance Automobile Safety Index (hereinafter referred to as "C-IASI") were released. This batch of models involves 12 car brands with a total of 14 models, including Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Ford Electric Horse, NIO ET5, Nissan Xuanyi, Zero running C11, Volkswagen Lingdu L, Ford Mondeo, ideal L8, extreme Krypton 001, Audi A4L, BYD frigate 07, Buick Century, Roewe RX5, Beijing Rubik's Cube, basically covering the mainstream models with relatively high market heat. From the test vehicle level category, there are 6 cars, 7 SUV and 1 MPV among the 14 models, of which 7 are new energy vehicles, accounting for half of the total model data.

According to the rules of version 2020, 14 models were tested and evaluated, and experts from universities, automobiles, insurance and other industries were randomly selected to form a 9-member expert evaluation team to professionally evaluate the measured data and evaluation results. The test is divided into four major items, and the results are green G (excellent), yellow A (good), orange M (general) and red P (poor).

From the evaluation results, most of the models performed well, among which Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Lingdu L and extreme Krypton 001 have good results in terms of interior member safety, pedestrian safety, vehicle auxiliary safety, crashworthiness and maintenance economy.

Specifically, in the "in-car occupant safety" test, BAIC Rubik's Cube was the only one of the 14 models that did not get excellent results, and the evaluation result was good (A), while the rest were excellent (G). In the driver side front 25% offset collision test, the Beijing Rubik's cube A column is relatively complete, and there is no obvious bending phenomenon, but the protection of the airbag in the car is not particularly in place, causing a certain degree of injury.

In the "pedestrian safety" test, the evaluation results of zero running C11 and Buick Century are good (A), and the other 12 models are excellent (G). Among them, the performance of zero running C11 is not particularly ideal in the head type test, flexible leg type and upper leg type test, especially in the leg type test. In Buick Century's head test, flexible leg test and upper leg test, the loss of score in the head test is the most obvious. in addition, in the front-end 15km/h low-speed collision test, the cabin cover collapses seriously and the airbag burst inside the car, resulting in a great increase in the cost of maintenance in the later stage.

In the "vehicle Auxiliary Safety" test, the above 14 models all received excellent (G) evaluation, of which 10 models were equipped with emergency rescue service (E-call) function, with an equipment rate of 71%.

As for the "crashworthiness and maintenance economy" test, the Fort Mondeo, BYD frigate 07 and Buick Century frontal airbag / seat belt detonated, and the three cars finally got P (poor) evaluation. Among them, the frigate 07 in the 15km/h low-speed collision test, the front cover slightly raised and the airbag ejected, although the protection of the personnel in the car is enough, but the later maintenance cost is a little more expensive. Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Xilai ET5, Volkswagen Lingdu L, Polar Krypton 001 and Beijing Rubik's Cube got A (good) evaluation, while the other six models got M (general) evaluation in this test.

In addition, a total of 11 models received excellent evaluation in terms of structural crashworthiness scores, including 3 models with zero defects, namely Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Dongfeng Nissan Xuanyi and Audi A4L, and 2 models with excellent maintainability scores, Roewe RX5 and Audi A4L, respectively. A total of 6 models received good evaluation in terms of maintenance economy scores, namely Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Volkswagen Lingdu L, Xilai ET5, Beijing Rubik's Cube, Zero running C11 and Polar Krypton 001; only one model received excellent evaluation in terms of collision compatibility, which is Ford Mondeo. In addition, in the frontal low-speed collision test, there are three models of airbag detonation.

In terms of occupant safety sub-index, among the 25% offset collision conditions on the driver's side, 12 models received excellent evaluation, of which 9 models were rated as zero defects, namely Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Ford Electric Horse, NIO ET5, ideal L8, Polar Krypton 001, Audi A4L, BYD frigate 07, Buick Century, Roewe RX5. There are 13 models with excellent evaluation in side impact conditions, of which 10 models are rated as 0 defects, namely Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Mastan Mach-E, L8, extreme Krypton 001, Audi A4L, BYD frigate 07, Roewe RX5). The proportion of excellent evaluation in top pressure condition is 100%, and the proportion of excellent evaluation in whip injury condition is 100%. In addition, four models voluntarily applied for 25% offset collision on the passenger side and got excellent evaluation, with a defect value of 0. These four models are Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Lvlai ET5, ideal L8 and Roewe RX5.

As consumers pay more and more attention to vehicle safety, the test results of "C-IASI", one of the third-party vehicle evaluation institutions in China, have also attracted more and more attention. From the evaluation results, most of the models performed well, including Volkswagen ID.6 CROZZ, Lingdu L and Polar Krypton 001, while Zero running C11, Buick Century and Beijing Rubik's Cube were relatively poor. as for Ford Electric Horse, such as Nissan Xuanyi, ideal L8, Audi A4L and Roewe RX5, they lost points in terms of "crashworthiness and maintenance economy". The overall performance is relatively mediocre.
