From the perspective of vehicle positioning, CX-90 will compete with SAIC-Volkswagen Touon, FAW-Volkswagen range, Ford Explorer, Buick Anke and other models in the domestic market, and it is speculated that the price may exceed 300000 yuan after entering the domestic market.

CX-90 is Mazda's new flagship SUV and Mazda's largest mass-produced SUV so far. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the CX-90 are 5110/1994/1732mm and the wheelbase is 3119mm. Compared with the domestic ideal L8, Volkswagen Tuen, Ford Explorer, Buick Anke Flag, etc., it has certain advantages in length and wheelbase. The car provides 6 seats and 7 seats to 8 seats for consumers to choose from in the American market.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the CX-90 still continues the design style of the Mazda family, and the shield-shaped large-size intake grille still retains the chrome-plated strip to outline the outline, which is consistent with the design style of the Mazda models currently on sale in China. The blackened straight waterfall middle net design is adopted in the interior, and the headlamp group is very small in area, which is connected with the chromium plating decoration, which makes it more three-dimensional and stylish, and the lower edge adopts similar "flattening" treatment. As for the domestic power system, it is currently unknown, but it is expected that the introduction of straight six is unlikely, but if you want to make a difference in the domestic market, the power combination of 2.0L/2.5L naturally aspirated engine + 6AT gearbox must be abandoned. After all, compared with the same level of models, Mazda's brand awareness is indeed not high.

In addition to the CX-90, Changan Mazda will launch the CX-50 in May, and the pre-price of the model will be announced at the 2023 Shanghai International Auto Show at 15.98-212000 yuan. In terms of power, CX-50 provides 2.0L and 2.5L power options in the early stage, 6AT gearbox is equipped in transmission, and hybrid models will be launched in the future.

Mazda has become a niche brand in the domestic market.
