The real car picture exposed this time is the Crown Sport model. According to the plan, the new car will be released this autumn. As to whether it will be introduced into the domestic market, the official has not yet disclosed.

From the real car pictures exposed this time, the overall appearance design of Crown Sport is the same as that of other Crown models, using the popular split headlamp group design. In terms of subdivision, the crown Sport is inclined to the sedan SUV, the front face is designed with a penetrating air intake grille and a split headlight group, the C-shaped LED daytime driving lights enhance the vehicle identification, the center is the crown brand Logo, and the lower part is suspected to be equipped with millimeter wave radar, which is expected to have driving assistance functions.

On the side of the body, the outline of the crown Sport is compact, the roof line begins to decline gradually from the B column, the lower door panel adopts concave design, and the concave and convex side skirt makes the vehicle more three-dimensional in vision. In addition, the rear row of the new car is also designed with privacy glass and is equipped with 21-inch smoked-style dense spoke rims. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the crown Sport are 4710/1880/1560mm and the wheelbase is 2770mm.

In the rear part, the crown Sport taillight is also designed with a split lamp group, and the periphery of the taillight group is fumigated to further enhance the identification of the new car. The rear part is equipped with a small size spoiler and the exhaust is a hidden layout.

In the interior part, the interior layout of the Crown Sport is basically the same as that of the Crown SportCross, equipped with a full LCD dashboard and a suspended central control screen with a size of 12.3in, as well as the current mainstream electronic shift mechanism. In terms of power, Crown Sport offers gas-electric hybrid and plug-in hybrid power options, but the detailed power parameters have not been officially announced. It is expected to use the same power parameters as Crown SportCross, which is composed of 2.5L naturally aspirated engine and motor. The overall maximum power of the system is 160kW, equipped with E-CVT gearbox.

The physical picture of the Crown Sport exposed this time can be regarded as the second model of the new generation of Toyota Crown. In July last year, the new generation of Toyota Crown was officially launched worldwide, but this generation of Crown adopted a new "play". In addition to launching Crown Crossing models, Toyota also launched three derivative Crown models: sedan version, Travel version and SUV version. At last year's 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show, Crown SportCross officially opened its pre-sale, with a pre-sale range of 36.90-429000 yuan. It is powered by 2.5L hybrid version and 2.4T hybrid version, of which 2.5L hybrid matches E-CVT continuously variable transmission and 2.4T hybrid version matches six-speed manual self-integrated gearbox.

In addition, FAW Toyota also unveiled the Crown Sedan at the Guangzhou Auto Show, which can be regarded as the car version of the Crown SportCross. The exterior design also adopts a new generation of Crown family design style. The front face uses a large area black straight waterfall intake grille, which brings a strong visual impact, while the C-shaped headlights and engine cover lines on both sides are consistent with the Crown SportCross. The headlamp group on both sides is equipped with the popular through-type LED lamp belt, and the headlamp is composed of four light sources arranged side by side, which makes the overall shape longer and narrower. The side of the car body still uses relatively smooth lines, with the aura that luxury medium and large cars should have. In the rear part, the Crown Sedan uses through-type taillights, the rear door of the trunk is designed with canard wings, and the rear is designed with integrated taillights similar to Mirai, with Toyota LOGO in the middle, the English logo "CROWN" below, and a more rounded line treatment on the overall outline of the tail. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the crown Sedan are 4930/1840/1540mm and wheelbase 2850mm respectively.

From the positioning of Crown, the new generation of Crown positioning luxury brand, the new car will be listed with more than 300000 yuan of luxury cars, reference to the Crown SportCross pre-price, it is estimated that the Crown Sport starting price may be around 400000 yuan.
