The report shows that the domestic BMW 1-Series hatchback (F52) will no longer be produced after the completion of production in July this year, when the car will officially retire from the historical stage. In addition, the BMW X2 will no longer be sold domestically from September, but unlike the BMW 1-Series hatchback, which no longer has a successor, the BMW X2 will continue to launch replacement models, but will not carry out domestic localization production. in the future, imported cars may be introduced into the domestic market.

BMW 1-Series hatchback (F52) was first released in 2016. Brilliance BMW's brand new 1-Series hatchback was released at the end of 2016 and went on sale in China at the beginning of the following year. It is an "exclusive" model that is produced and sold only in the domestic market. Jointly developed by BMW headquarters in Germany and BMW Chinese engineers, it has been produced for more than 6 years and has been modified many times. At the beginning of this year, it also launched a new Evening version / Yao gleaming version. However, the car has not launched a replacement model.

At present, there are 2023 BMW 1-Series hatchback sedans (F52) on sale, which are entry-level cars offered by BMW, with a price range of 20.89-249900 yuan, with 1.5T three-cylinder engine and 2.0T engine respectively. The maximum power is 136hp and 178hp respectively.

The BMW X2 was launched in 2017, debuted at the North American Auto Show in 2018 and introduced into domestic sales as imports. Since 2019, the BMW X2 has been domestically produced. At present, the domestic BMW X2 offers a total of 4 models with a price range of 28.89-332900 yuan. The competitive products in the car market include Audi Q3 and its sedan version, Mercedes-Benz GLA, Cadillac XT4 and other models.

It is understood that the new generation of BMW X2 is expected to be released at the end of this year and will be introduced into domestic sales in the form of imports early next year. As a replacement model, the appearance and interior of the new car will be replaced with the latest family design style. From the espionage photos exposed, the front face of the new car still uses the classic double-kidney front grille design, with long and narrow headlights on both sides, and a longitudinal layout of double-row LED daytime driving lights inside.
