On the side of the body, the new car has a slippery back shape, which looks more like a sedan SUV. In addition, the smart circular logo is designed on the front wing of the new car, hidden door handles, aerodynamic rims and other elements not only ensure the harmonious style of the vehicle, but also reduce the design of vehicle wind resistance. In the rear part, the smart Wizard # 3 is equipped with a penetrating LED lamp group that echoes with the front, surrounded by a large area of black treatment and arched decorative lines, and a decorative pattern of "imitation exhaust" is outlined on both sides. The BRABUS version of the car will still be painted in black on the car logo and nameplate.

In terms of interior decoration, smart Wizard # 3 also continues the design layout opened by smart Wizard # 1, with a 9.2-inch LCD instrument display and a 12.8-inch central suspension touch screen, and the air conditioning outlet under the center console is designed into a circle, which is obviously different from the oval design of smart Wizard # 1. The car also uses a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel and a shift mechanism with a cup holder, a mobile phone storage tank and a charging interface in the handrail area between the main driver and the passenger driver.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4400/1844/1556mm, wheelbase is 2785mm, positioning compact pure electric SUV. It is important to note that although the smart wizard # 3 has entered the level of compact SUV, it is not magnified much in actual size. For comparison, the length, width and height of smart wizard # 1 are 4290/1910/1698mm and wheelbase 2750mm, respectively. Of course, this is already the largest model in the history of the smart brand.

Data show that the smart brand delivered a total of 19711 vehicles in China from January to May in 2023, including 2624 in May, which is not high. No matter in the new energy small SUV track or in the high-end market of new energy, smart is facing a lot of pressure of terminal competition.
