In addition to the new energy vehicles with traditional power cells, we also pay attention to the rise of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Although the construction of temporary hydrogen filling stations in China is very slow, from the perspective of the pace of policy and technology development, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are expected to replace power cell vehicles.
At the exhibition, a number of domestic manufacturers showed that the technology in the field of hydrogen energy covers passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, and two state-owned enterprises, FAW and Dongfeng, jointly displayed their hydrogen fuel cell vehicles at the exhibition, which illustrates the new direction of national policy. From the current technology trend, pure electric vehicles are more suitable for short-haul, urban, and other passenger vehicles, while hydrogen fuel cells are more suitable for long-distance passenger cars, trucks and other commercial vehicles. At present, to meet the needs of people's life and travel, we need to pay more attention to both pure electric and hydrogen energy.
Apart from FAW, Dongfeng and SAIC, private car companies such as Hanteng and Grove have all joined the hydrogen energy development force, and their technical level and practicality are close to the stage of mass production. It can be said that everything is in place but Dongfeng.
At this year's Shanghai auto show, the French parts giant Virginia brought its developed hydrogen fuel cell modules, while Virginia expects at least 2 million hydrogen fuel cell models and 350000 commercial models to be put into use by 2030. Virginia reached an alliance earlier than Michelin to form a joint venture to develop fuel cell models.
As the earliest Japanese manufacturer to put fuel cells into use, Toyota's mirai appeared in the center of the platform at the Shanghai Auto Show. Although domestic conditions are unable to digest mirai models for the time being, in view of the increasing number of domestic fuel cell manufacturers, we will have more foreign manufacturers to bring more new energy models to Chinese consumers in the future.
