Toyota Camry remained at the top of the list in June, with sales of 24036 vehicles, up 21.63% from May. The new Camry is scheduled to go public in early 2024. Teana, which is also one of the top three in Japan, also showed significant growth, with sales of 11123 vehicles in June, an increase of 104.66% compared with the previous month, while Accord sold 9008 vehicles in June, down 24.79% from the previous month, and the ranking also fell to 10th place from the 6th place in May. as for the reasons for the decline in sales, Automotive Industry concern believes that it may be affected by the replacement of Accord.

On May 20, Guangzhou Automobile Honda's new-generation Accord officially launched a total of seven models with fuel version and plug-in version, with a price range of 179800-258800 yuan. As a new generation model, the new car has undergone comprehensive changes in appearance, size and interior. the power is equipped with fuel version and plug-in hybrid version, in which the 1.5T turbocharged engine model L15CH/L15CJ has a maximum power of 141kW and a peak torque of 260Nm. The transmission system matches the CVT continuously variable transmission. In addition to the above models, the sister models SAIC-Volkswagen Passat and FAW-Volkswagen Maiteng also had a relatively normal sales performance in June, with retail sales of both models exceeding 16000, ranking third and fourth on the list. FAW-Volkswagen Maiteng increased by 16.68% month-on-month.

In the BBA luxury brand camp, BMW has always outperformed Mercedes-Benz and Audi. In the segment of medium-sized cars, Audi A4L, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class models all sold more than 10,000 vehicles in June, of which Audi A4L sold 15847 vehicles, better than BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, with two sales of 15506 and 14200 respectively.

In the list of Top10, the Red Flag H5 also made it into the top 10 in June, with sales of 9873 vehicles, making it the only self-brand model on the list of Top10. In addition to the above models, BYD Seal and Changan Deep Blue SL03 ranked 13th and 14th respectively, and June sales were good.

FAW Hongqi H5, currently on sale, went on sale on July 26, 2022, with a total of seven models with a price range of 15.98 yuan to 225800 yuan, which is the only one of Hongqi products priced below 200000 yuan. Changan Deep Blue SL03 is also on the market at the same time. On July 25, 2022, it launched a total of four models with a current price of 17.99-699900 yuan. It offers three power options: extended range version, pure electric version and hydrogen version. The main competitors include Tesla Model 3 and BYD Seal.

In the list, Dongfeng Honda Yingshi School sales of 5170 vehicles, down 34.11% month-on-month, the decline in sales may be affected by medium-term changes. On July 3, Dongfeng Honda's new generation of Yingshi School officially launched a total of 6 models. The price range is 18.28-258800 yuan. As a replacement model, the new generation of Yingshi School adopts a new design style in terms of appearance and interior decoration, and the power side will provide 1.5T fuel version and 2.0L plug-in hybrid version. The car will compete in the Accord after its launch. It should be noted that the new car is more expensive than the new generation Accord, and it will take more time and market feedback to know how the sales of the new car will change after its launch.

At present, Mondeo, Red Flag H5, LaCrosse and Accord and other medium-sized cars have been upgraded, followed by Camry, Sonata will also soon launch replacement models, at the same time, more and more domestic car companies have also begun to launch medium-sized electric vehicles, in this context, the competition in the medium-sized car market will be more fierce.
